Non mi è piaciuto It's more focused on caravans and statics rather than camping so if you are in a tent you may feel a bit out of place, although on the other hand some sites are caravan only so it's nice to have the option for camping.

Non mi è piaciuto Oh my, very basic and somewhat messy site. Lots of statics and white vans randomly parked. No view, toilets clean but very basic. Unable to get rid of grey waste or fill up with water.

We're sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.

We would like to clarify a few points for future visitors. Our touring pitches are regularly maintained and are not used for the storage of vehicles or equipment. The caravans and lodges on the park are privately owned holiday homes, which is typical of a mixed holiday and touring park.

We are also surprised by the comments regarding water and waste disposal facilities, as fresh drinking water is available for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents. In addition, we provide dedicated chemical waste disposal and grey water disposal points for touring guests.

We're pleased that you found the toilet facilities clean, although we appreciate that our small, family-run park offers more traditional facilities than some larger commercial holiday parks.

Mi è piaciuto When we first arrived, we found it easy to check in and the man in charge showed us to an upgraded caravan due to a boiler issue in the one I had originally booked. The caravan we stayed in was clean, warm, and smelled lovely. The beds were comfy and clean, while the shower had good water pressure. Shampoo, body and soap was provided in little travel bottles which all smelled lovely. The caravan site is close to the town which provided a nice walk over the bridge. We had no issues with noise from other caravan users and the site is in a quiet area. There is nothing on site for entertainment or for children but I knew this when I booked. Close to Galloway Forest Park for those who love nature. Overall, it was fantastic place to stay.

Non mi è piaciuto Could have used a bigger pan to cook in as only 2 little ones were provided. This made it difficult to cook for 5 people as had to make it separately. The same applies with bowls as only small cereal bowls were provided.

Couldn't access Netflix on a night time due to a lack of internet but this was not a fault of the caravan park owners and is being fixed.

Mi è piaciuto Easy walk into Newton Stewart and plenty of lovely walks in the area.
Toilet block was generally very clean.

We are disappointed to read your comments, particularly as no concerns regarding a blocked drain were reported to us during your stay. Had this been brought to our attention, we would have investigated the matter immediately and taken any necessary action. We cannot rectify issues that we are unaware of.

We would also respectfully clarify that Creebridge Caravan Park is a holiday park, not a residential site for workers. We welcome a wide range of guests, including holiday homeowners, touring caravanners, motorhome owners, campers and visitors exploring the local area. While some guests may occasionally be working nearby and choose to stay with us, the park is not operated as a residential or workers' site.

We appreciate that our park may not suit everyone's personal preferences, but we do feel that a rating of 6 out of 10 does not accurately reflect the facilities and environment we provide for the many holidaymakers who return to stay with us year after year.

Mi è piaciuto Great guy at reception very helpful, facilities were spot on and clean, location was very convenient for the town

Non mi è piaciuto As a tent pitch you are put in the middle of the childrens play area with kids noise untill late and kicking balls against the tent and your vehicle untill gone half 10pm.
Great place for families and motorhomes, lodges looked great too, but as a solo traveller in a tent it's just not suitable, was that disturbed by the noise and disruptions I packed up after night 1 at 7am and didn't even return the second night what I had paid for.

As a family-focused holiday park, our children’s play area is naturally popular during busy periods, particularly in the evenings, but we fully appreciate that this environment may not be ideal for every type of guest — especially solo campers seeking a quieter experience.
We do ask all guests and children to be respectful of other visitors and their pitches, and we’re disappointed to hear that this affected your stay to the extent that you chose to leave early.

As a small, family-run park, we work extremely hard throughout the year to maintain and improve the site ourselves, and a great deal of care, time, and effort goes into keeping the park peaceful, tidy, and welcoming for our guests and holiday homeowners.
We understand that our quieter, more rustic style of park may not suit everyone, particularly compared with larger commercial holiday parks, but many of our visitors specifically choose us for our relaxed atmosphere and tranquil surroundings.
Our shower facilities operate using a small charge system, which helps us manage running costs and usage fairly, especially during busier periods.
We are naturally disappointed to read that you felt uncomfortable during your stay, as this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. Nevertheless, we appreciate all feedback and will take your comments on board as we continue working to improve the park.

Also having to get tokens for showers wasn't ideal

Please remove the chair and stools from the ladies they can not be used as they are dirty/ dusty and have paint on them.
