Mi è piaciuto: 👍 Well maintained site for visitors to Dumfries. Level gravel pitches with grass to side. Attentive warden. Amazing large open field adjoining for dog walking 🐶 Teens enjoyed fishing at the river. Quiet night sleep. Family friendly. Dog / Pet friendly. Games room too. 👍

We are so pleased your teens enjoyed the fishing on the river on site, and thought our large open secure field for dog walking, or just walking was amazing. Mi è piaciuto: 2nd time we have stayed here and will stay again. Site is very clean and tidy. We arrived late but it wasn't a problem at all, we were met by the warden who stays on the site, very welcoming and helpful.

Mi è piaciuto: Sehr netter Empfang. Der Platz verdient die Bestnote. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen ebenso. Alles wird liebevoll gepflegt. Ich bedaure, dass wir nur eine Nacht auf unserer Rundreise dort verbringen konnten. Würde ich immer wieder buchen. TOP! Vielen Dank.

Mi è piaciuto: It was a great campsite, very clean and tidy, welcoming, free showers (was even invited back after my race to use the showers before I headed home if I wanted to). Quiet Hot showers Games room Good pot washing facilities Excellent WiFi

Non mi è piaciuto: I don’t think there was kitchen facilities other than the pot washing. I was self sufficient for this but just something to mention for those that aren’t

The team at Newbridge Country Park, are pleased you said it was a great campsite, very clean and tidy, welcoming and free showers. We are also pleased you liked how quiet the site was, that the showers were hot, the games room, pot washing facilities and our excellent free Wi-Fi. Sarah we don't have any other kitchen facilities and don't advertise that we do. The majority of campsites don't offer that option either. But we are local enough to cafe's, restaurants and shops for food. Thank you again Sarah. We hope you had an enjoyable time in Dumfries, and we hope you will come and stay with us again soon.

Mi è piaciuto: From the minute we entered the park I knew it would be good, the man at reception couldn’t be more helpful, polite and friendly- set us off to select any pitch we wanted - showers were lovely and clean as were the toilet facilities. Highly recommended for just more than an overnight stay.

Mi è piaciuto: Nice location lovely walk for dogs on site. Clean very tidy and a warm welcome.

Non mi è piaciuto: Could probably do with more toilets and showers. It was fine when we stayed as only 3 other vans but if busier I think the facilities might be short.

Lots of customers really appreciate the dog walking field, with the mowed path by the river. We are pleased you thought it was a lovely place for dogs on site. Regarding the need for more toilets/showers, we have two large toilet/shower rooms a short walk away by reception. The team at Newbridge Country Park, hope to see you again soon.

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely site with perfectly manicured grounds. The site is located right on the the A76 (just 10 minutes from Dumfries) but the pitches are surrounded by tall trees and you couldn't hear any of the road noise. The dog walking area sets this site apart from any other we have ever stayed at. The field is secure all the way round and runs by the side of the river. The pathways are cut into the field offering you the cleanest of walks, even when the ground is sodden underfoot. Easily accessible facilities, which were regularly checked and cleaned, including a games room (ping pong table, pool table and air hockey)

Non mi è piaciuto: The mixed wc's and showers are located inside the games room and it can feel a little awkward, when you rack up the pool table whilst you wait for the loo or shower. However, a little longer waly and there are some further (seldom used showers) at the entrance to the site.

Lots of customers really appreciate the dog walking field, with the mowed path by the river. A lot of our customers stay longer, or return to the site, because of the dog walking area, and how lovely the site, and facilities are. Regarding having to wait for the toilets/showers in the games room, you are right, we have to large toilet/shower rooms a short walk away by reception, for those that don't want to use the toilets/shower in the games room.
