Ben tenuto, pulito, con viste mozzafiato e atmosfera accogliente, specialmente il manager Stan. Bar ideale per socializzare. Servizi puliti. Qualche piccolo problema (formiche, cani, docce datate). Tranquillo e buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful view from the camping pod. The welcome was very friendly and helpful. The pods are great, comfy beds, storage, kettle, BBQ and outside chimnea. We were a group of 4 ladies on motorcycles and it was such a treat not to have to carry tents etc. we were made very welcome. Toilets and showers were always very clean with plenty of hot water. We loved the pizza van and bar on Friday night.

Mi è piaciuto Welcoming owner. Clean loos & shower block with plenty of warm water. Fantastic view from the 'pub' over the levels. Large, flat pitch.
Non mi è piaciuto V quiet site, pub only open on the Sat night, not a 'disliked' but still worth folk being aware of. No view from the pitch itself, which lacked any tree/ planting 'privacy'. Would I recommend, it would depend on what someone was looking for.? Unlikely to return as not enough in the area itself to warrant.

Mi è piaciuto Just returned from 4 days at Bowdens crest caravan and camping park and just wanted to say thank you for a very relaxing time away. There is nothing to dislike, the facilities are kept clean, a bar available on site, the views are beautiful, the campsite is very peaceful and everyone on site is so friendly. Thank you very much for a wonderful few days.

Non mi è piaciuto Specifically booked this site because of being Adult friendly and offered Food onsite at weekends. However, on arrival on a Saturday, we were told, Oh, the food facility is here only on a Friday despite Saturday being within the weekend. Along with that the site is not Adults only as we saw 2 children when we were there.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely beautiful location. Stunning views and Stan the manager was very helpful. We had a fabulous time in the on site bar - Jeff and Jan and their team are wonderful hosts (not forgetting Lucy the gorgeous dog!) The Sunday meat raffle was a hoot and we will definitely be back.
Check in was easy and on site facilities were clean and sufficient for our needs.

Mi è piaciuto Had a lovely stay absolutely beautiful views and the street food was fab - the bar was great - everyone was very friendly- the only issue we had was that there were loads of ants and our tent was crawling with them - shower blocks and toilets were kept clean and tidy

Non mi è piaciuto Dogs barking all day (maybe neighbouring kennels), expensive for what you get, tent pitch was a grass strip in the middle of the onsite vans, no privacy, dated shower and toilet block, no hot water one morning, not adults only.

Yes there was no hot water one morning but once you alerted me, and after apologizing I checked the boiler and found it was tripped it was reset and you were informed the water would be ready in 2 hours and for that I am truly sorry
Yes there are kennels further up the road but apart from feeding time any noise is rare.
You were offered 2 different touring fields to pitch your tent, you didn't want the large field as there were other tents on that field instead you chose the top field as there were no other tents on it and it had trees for shade on a very hot day, the pitch you selected was 9mt by 45mt of well kept level grass so I don't understand your issue with it.
The low scores for cleanliness and customer service were particularly bothering considering the other reviews of 10/10 that weekend given from other guests on here and booking.com
Our staff work really hard to provide an environment for you to have a nice holiday and I am sorry if we didn't reach your expectations but I suppose we can't suit everyone.

Non mi è piaciuto Bar only open on weekends, but doesnt state that. More for permanent residents than for campers on hols.

I am sorry Bowdens Crest Holiday Park was not to your liking. I am at a loss for the low scoring particularly on cleanliness as we usually score 10/10 especially as there was no incident reported. We do pride ourselves on the standard of cleanliness.
