Piccolo campeggio per soli adulti e amici a quattro zampe, immerso nel bosco, molto apprezzato per tranquillità e natura. Proprietari accoglienti, piazzole spaziose e bosco adiacente per passeggiate con cani. Locanda raggiungibile a piedi. Alcuni punti meno ideali: piazzole potenzialmente irregolari, necessarie zeppe.

It was so lovely to meet you both on what was a night of shocking weather! There is an overhead light on the large oak right next to your pitch for late returns from the pub in the dark but we usually ask guests to switch it off once they are safely back in the van for the benefit of anyone on site who likes the pitch dark and a bit of stargazing! Looking forward to seeing you for the bluebells in the woodland in The Spring.

Mi è piaciuto Secluded leafy tall tree glade. Should be nice in summer. Ehu and water available.
Non mi è piaciuto Couldn't find any dog walking paths. No footpaths either to get anywhere. Must be self sufficient.

Upon arrival we run through all the wonderful walks from the site as we are literally surrounded by walks up to Upton to see the wonderful views over Wimborne or there is the walk up through the farmers fields to the high point at Horton Tower. It's also a wonderful walk from the back of the lovely pub in the village through the fields for miles and miles. All of these walks are within a couple of hundred yards of the site and are off road. Our road is a country road with very little traffic and local drivers are used to tractors and horse riders so it's very safe to walk to the field entrances up the road.
The local village shop is about a mile away by car 3 minutes or the beautiful market town of Wimborne is 5 minutes by car.
Many visitors have excellent walking Apps which would guide you to all the local paths and sights
Nestled amongst ancient woods with an abundance of birds & wildlife.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful woodland setting, very tranquil location. Adult only and small, with 5 hard standings which gives this site a lovely unique feel.
Welcoming hosts. Well laid out pitches. Access to electric hook up and drinking water at each pitch.

Non mi è piaciuto Chemical waist, has a drain cover on the ground to lift off not so easy with back problem, bit of a leak from stand pipe which made it a bit stodgy

Mi è piaciuto Cosy little rural woodland site, only half dozen pitches set amongst trees. Friendly owner. Quite and peaceful. No fuss.
