Moonfleet Farm è lodata per piazzole spaziose e livellate, proprietari cordiali e disponibili, e posizione in campagna. Servizi puliti, docce in "shepherd hut", atmosfera tranquilla. Ideale per famiglie, con animali e spazio per giocare. Ottima base per esplorare, con pub vicino. Note: cani da fattoria occasionalmente liberi, più bagni durante alta stagione.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed staying on a working farm, site was busy and had moments of peace and quiet but also an active atmosphere.
Non mi è piaciuto Although it stayed quiet time after 9pm some groups were still very loud late into the night.
Will take into account its a working farm at busy time of year but it did not feel the cleanest it could be and on one day there was no hot water . (Probably due to it being busy)

We hope our campers will respect the 'quiet time', but if there's a problem, we are very happy to have a word with noisier guests.
We can't hear from the farmhouse and need a call to let us know if this is the case.
Our heating and hot water is fuelled by a biomass boiler which occasionally breaks down. When working, it easily copes with the demands of the campsite, farmhouse and holiday cottage.
Facilities are regularly checked, but only as clean as left by the last user.
There's a sign in each shower room asking for guests to contact us with any problems.
Pitches are not totally level but lovely and spacious

Mi è piaciuto Our 2nd visit to this site. We love the peace and rustic feel of this site. Owners are very friendly, facilities are clean enough and everything you could need.

Dal gestore: We consider this to be a very unfair review. The guests disliked our site for being too quiet, although we market as a farm-based, rural site.
This was probably our worst experience of inconsiderate campers.
Having arrived en masse their children ran riot across neighbouring pitches. The group (3 pitches) communicated from their pitches across the campsite with megaphones, despite there being other campers present and we had three complaints within a short time of their arrival.
They were relocated to a private area where they were less likely to upset other campers and had use of picnic benches free of charge (an area frequently requested by our regular camping groups).
Clearly not the site for this group!

Family bathrooms were clean and tidy
Benches available to hire and fire wood available to buy- lovely fire pits free
Play area for even the most determined of grumpy teenagers was a hit!
Location was brilliant for Weymouth and Poole- plenty of seaside fun to be had as well as beautiful location

Mi è piaciuto This is a very relaxed and peaceful campsite right in the countryside. It is a working farm with animals surrounding the campsite. There are some lovely touches like some of the toilet and shower facilities being in shepherds huts. There are 4 cubicles with a shower and toilet on each which is convenient, there is an additional separate toilet too. As well as washing up facilities and a washing machine and tumble dryer should you need it. The owners were really accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. They have fire pits you can borrow and logs and kindling you can buy from them. We had some lovely evening camp fires and some fantastic views of the milkyway. The pub across the field is lovely, if a bit pricey, but a nice break from cooking at camp. The farm shop just across the road from the pub is more than a farm shop, they sell a bit of everything, really convenient if you should need any supplies. Apart from that the nearest supermarket is 20mins away in blandford forum, a cute little town I recommend a wonder around with a lovely walk way along the river stour.
Throughly recommend this site for a slice of peace and quiet in the countryside.

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful campsite near to the picturesque village of Milton Abbas. With limited light leaking from towns, on a clear night you can see alot of stars. Large pitches, amenties easy to find and use. Use of fire pits were an added bonus. The owners couldn't do enough, all questions answered. A great little getaway, just wish we had more time to relax sooner. They also had a pool table and a ping-pong table for the kids of an afternoon. A 5-min walk to the local pub across the fields. Perfect.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! This is our 4th visit to Moonfleet, it's just perfect. Linda, Clive and Rowena are all lovely people and very friendly. The shower and toilet facilities are well looked after. The sunsets are out of this world and with no light pollution the stars all come out to play it's a spectacular sight. Kids always make friends and can safely play over the campsite field. Lots of animals to see. It's also a perfect base to visit the D day museum Portland, Weymouth, Swanage, Corfe Castle, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, West Bay, Lyme Regis, the rest of the Jurassic Coast and much more!
We will be returning next year as soon as the kids break up in July.
