Mi è piaciuto Peaceful field with lovely rural views. Can pitch where you like which is nice. Not busy and pretty much left alone. Nice little set up. Love the trough sinks and the shower set up is very smart. Portaloos were spotlessly clean.

Non mi è piaciuto - Portaloo, absolutely stank when flushed.

- If you're a light sleeper, there are loud cows and sheep in nearby fields as well as almost constantly barking dogs in a house over the field.

The portaloos are an issue we are aware of, unfortunately we have been very disappointed with the company we hired them from who have not serviced them anywhere near as frequently as we paid/ agreed them too. Your visit unfortunately fell just before they finally came to service them.
We are now planning for our own compostable toilets for the future.

Non mi è piaciuto Portaloos. Though I believe Mike and Fran are planning to install composting loos which would be a great move.

Mi è piaciuto Great amenities for camping, a small shop if anything goes wrong e.g. shop for air mattress, games. Nice shower and toilets

Mi è piaciuto Very peaceful, there was only myself and another family in the whole field. You could see that the owners really take pride in their site. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It was also easily accessible - no crazy lanes to navigate, yet it felt remote as it's surrounded by more fields.

Mi è piaciuto We went away as 2 families, 3 children under 3 and a dog, we had a fantastic night away! The field is so peaceful and there was plenty of room between everyone. The facilities are wonderful and a lot of thought has gone into the little touches, games out for the kids (and adults) air fresheners in the toilets and a little honestly shop. We are local and just wanted an easy night away and we will definitely make this a regular stop.

Non mi è piaciuto It genuinely wasn’t an issue but may be to some people, the field must have sheep in at some point and so there was quite a lot of excrement throughout the field. But we found an area with very little and it was no problem at all

Mi è piaciuto It was absolutely beautiful and we all had an amazing two nights here, we will certainly be back again and it had all the amenities set out so beautifully and could ever need. Highly recommend this campsite if you enjoy the great outdoors and having incredible views and to make it even more amazing it's very relaxed and spacious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Non mi è piaciuto There is not a single thing to dislike, it's everything you could wish for from a campsite and more. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mi è piaciuto A lovely site, a basic style site (which we like) very clean warm showers, spotless washing up area, currently porta loo toilets but again clean and perfectly acceptable. Honesty box for small bits that may have forgotten, tea, coffee, shower gel etc which was a nice touch. Several picnic benches to use, some outdoor games for kids too. 😎

Good communication from owners before arrival too. Very welcoming.

Will 100% be using the site again.
