Campeggio ben tenuto e tranquillo con piazzole spaziose, in un'ottima posizione rurale. Apprezzati pulizia, ambientazione e personale. Critiche per rumore traffico, poche docce/bagni e costi extra. Mancano acqua calda e copertura lavastoviglie.

Mi è piaciuto The site was lovely, well maintained and the communal areas were kept clean and tidy.
Ducks roamed freely and were a lovely addition.
The night times were quiet with most campers signing off at around 9.30. There is a road nearby but it didn’t bother us.
We stayed in pitch Oak 8 which was a little restricted for our tent but once again it did not bother us. The pitches all seemed nice and flat too, which is great.
The details listed were accurate and we absolutely could have stayed longer.
Owner was present and always available if you needed him.
For those that want/need WiFi, we paid £10 for 3 days and it was fab.
Non mi è piaciuto So there are 5 toilets, 2 for ladies, 2 for the gents and another one that we found further round. These were clean and well stocked. The issue for me is that for both ladies and gents, 1 of the above toilets was located in the shower room. This meant that only 1 ladies toilet was left, I was queuing for the shower for 30 mins on one day! I am not sure this lies with the site or whether it lies with ladies maybe hogging the facilities , for toilet, shower, styling hair, putting make up on and then dressing! Surely toilet, shower and back to your tent/caravan to finish off would be better.
Bearing in mind your shower is maxed out at 7 mins, which is perfect and keeps you focused on the task at hand.
In balance I don’t think my husband had any problems at all with accessing either of the above.
So maybe separating the toilets from the shower would be good but also maybe us ladies should also think about how much we can do back at our pitch too.

Ducks and geese wandering around the site and chickens in a coop
Small pond.
All facilities for servicing the Motorhome.
Short walk to starcross station and ferry and also the anchor inn in Cockwood.

But a lot of intrusive traffic noise all day. Not impressed with dish washing area. Not under cover and no hot water!
Also when you pay £84 for three nights in a tent you don’t expect to have to pay extra for using the shower.
Sorry won’t be returning

Mi è piaciuto Everything. The site is set out well, level pitches, and all forms of transport were easily reachable on foot. Loos were spotless, shower decent. Nice, amenable host.

We do understand your comments about the shower and the WiFi. As a small, rural site, we currently offer basic facilities. The WiFi is provided as an optional extra, as there is a significant cost to us in delivering this service in our remote location — but we aim to keep it as affordable as possible for those who wish to use it.

Gorgeous little site handy for that part of South Devon

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful setting not far from Powderham Castle and it's luscious garden centre. Also good for Dawlish Warren, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Absolutely amazing lookout over the countryside. It was quiet and peaceful, just what I crave. There is a road by the touring pitches but it didn't bother me. At night the dark sky is wonderful. Plenty of birds including owls and woodpeckers.
Picnic bench at every pitch which was fab. Decent sized hardstanding pitch (not level) with a side helping of grass. Everything immaculately kept and very clean. Walks off the site, perfect for your furry companions. Bathroom facilities absolutely spotless. Owner was lovely.
Non mi è piaciuto There's only one shower each for men and women and you have to pay for it. You have to pay for wifi too, which in this day and age just feels a bit much. Also, given I paid £18 for my dogs for 2 nights, a dog walk would have been appreciated.
