Hillcrest Views Campsite

Mi è piaciuto This campsite is just a few miles from home, but we chose it as a little getaway spot for the evening — and it was perfect for exactly that.

Tucked away down a quiet lane, away from the main road, the site feels wonderfully remote and peaceful. The pitches are spacious, easily fitting our car, gazebo, and two four-person tents without feeling cramped.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the whole site had a clean, well-kept feel to it. It was quiet and relaxing, yet very family-friendly, with a small football pitch in the middle that kept the kids entertained. (It could have been divided into extra pitches, but I liked that it was left for play instead.)

Facilities were well thought-out. There were two sinks for washing up, complete with scourers and washing-up liquid provided — a thoughtful touch. Toilets and showers were also spotless and well maintained.

Overall, it was a simple, peaceful, and family-friendly spot that ticked all the boxes for a short escape close to home.

Mi è piaciuto Really clean site, great showers, well kept grass areas for camping. The team were extremely friendly and made time to chat to see how you were and what you had been doing. Would recommend

Mi è piaciuto We had a lovely stay at Hillcrest Views. The site is really well kept, with plenty of space and beautiful views across the countryside. The facilities were spotless and made everything easy and comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even nicer. It’s in a great location too – peaceful and quiet, but still close to the coast and local shops. A great spot for a relaxing break in Cornwall.

Mi è piaciuto We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hillcrest Views Campsite. The location is absolutely ideal—peaceful, scenic, and perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding area. It offers a real sense of escape while still being conveniently accessible.
The pitches were generously sized, providing plenty of space and privacy, which made setting up and relaxing incredibly easy. Whether you're in a tent, caravan, or motorhome, there's ample room to settle in comfortably.
Facilities on-site were excellent—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything we needed was readily available, and it’s clear that the site is managed with care and attention to detail.
Overall, Hillcrest Views strikes a perfect balance between comfort and nature. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality camping experience in a beautiful setting.

Mi è piaciuto Great site, good facilites we had pitch 3. All pitches have privacy hedges.we had water and grey waste. Nice large pitch.

Mi è piaciuto Fabulous location with easy access to Portreath/Godrevy and other locations in West Cornwall.
The site isn't sign posted but directions were detailed and spot on - a good welcome on arrival.
A great balance of sheltered pitches but open site, giving far reaching views.
Basic facilities but cleaned regularly. Family appreciated the double showers and the provision of detergent at washing sinks was a nice touch.
I like to move around, see different things but will certainly return.

Private bathrooms & showers .
Spotlessly clean toilets.
Well maintained grass & hedges etc.
Very good rubbish & recycling system.
Staff are very hard working but approachable if needed.

Non mi è piaciuto No sink plugs in toilets & water running out of the shower tray onto the floor when showering .
