The Camping Field

Mi è piaciuto: A very peaceful campsite with all facilities. We enjoyed chatting to the owner who was very helpful and gave us some amazing local recommendations.
We were able to have a fire and bbq and use the facilities with no issues

Mi è piaciuto: It was incredibly peaceful. Virtually no traffic on the nearby lane, it was very quiet and just relaxing. Plenty of space to separate yourself from the other campers. Toilets are portaloo’s, but they were clean and as pleasant as they can be.
No set kick-out time which makes your final day relaxing and stress free.
We didn’t use the showers, but they looked fine from the outside.
The owner was friendly and very much had the mindset of ‘camping should be fun’ so doesn’t have lots of restricting rules.
We will certainly be staying here again!
Phone signal (O2 and Three) exists BUT not at any great speed.

Non mi è piaciuto: The only slight negative is that a large amount of the field is on a slope, and we don't (yet) have levelling ramps for our camper. We will be adding them shortly, and that won’t be an issue anymore!

Mi è piaciuto: Very clean well maintained campsite, the owner was very helpful and available every day to suggest things to do in the area or to ensure we had everything we needed. Showers and toilet were cleaned everyday.

The Camping field is a beautiful area with outstanding views to helman tor,and is flat on top of the field and slightly sloping down which the field never floods and drains extremely well in wet weather

Mi è piaciuto: We love coming here. It is so quiet and peaceful and back to basics. Loads of space for the dogs to run around. Land owner is very attentive often driving around making sure all is well and is happy to have a chat and go out of his way to make you feel at home. Great location, on the Saints Way. Showers are lovely but basic. Portaloos were clean and well kept. This is the perfect camp site for going back to basics. If you don’t like porta loos then don’t come expecting luxury toilets.

Non mi è piaciuto: Not a dislike but you could perhaps sell local eggs? Can’t beat fresh eggs in the morning.

Mi è piaciuto: The owner was amazing. As we we⁶re pitching up, he came round to check we were all alright and had
a very friendly chat. Plenty of portaloos around. Shows were lovely and hot.
There was a lot of freedom of how you wanted to pitch.
Exactly what you want if you're traveling down the south-west peninsula.

Mi è piaciuto: Back to basics not far from home just what we wanted. Large field loads of space, relaxed and laid back. Owner is friendly and helpful, not loads of rules and regs. Normally go for adult only sites especially in August, but we couldn’t hear the kids, who were loving the open space. Lovely woodland walk to Luxulyan. Will def be back to meet friends there.
