Mi è piaciuto: Bathrooms were OK. Do remember a 50 p coin though...
Non mi è piaciuto: Depressing stay. No "warm welcome" as some have mentioned - we got an email with directions to our pitch. No number on the pitch though... the sign with the number was just dumped carelessly on the ground beside it. Terribly noisy. Not only from the constant air traffic, but also from the tractors and garden machines driving back and forth right behind our van. A lot of "landscaping" was going on.... The most depressing was all the commercial vans, the rusting vans, the dumped vans - not at all a campsite you would enjoy. As a travel writer I visit sites all over Britain - and this was not a place I would recommend.

Mi è piaciuto: The facilities were super modern and clean - we were so impressed in both male and female blocks. Team were super friendly and went out of their way to find us an ideal pitch after some torrential rain to avoid the van getting stuck in the mud - they were very friendly + the food on site is fantastic - highly recommend supporting the van when serving hot food + coffee. This was a FAB site, just what we needed for a weekend base around our plans - thank you!
Non mi è piaciuto: The thunderstorms, but that couldn’t be stopped by the campsite!

Mi è piaciuto: The location, friendliness of staff, Travelling Teapot, amenities and everything else! We stayed for 2 nights on a non-electric pitch. It was our first time camping in a tent and aside from getting caught in a biblical downpour we had the best time! The Travelling Teapot is fantastic, think we pretty much sampled everything on the menu and it was all fantastic! The staff are really helpful and extremely friendly :-)

Mi è piaciuto: Clean facilities, pop up cafe, woodland walk to the lake.
Non mi è piaciuto: Low flying noisy aircraft all day and night! No facilities in the main camping field.

Mi è piaciuto: The Quality of facilities on site, the shower block is very new and kept Immaculately clean. The outside eating area with is nicely kept.

Mi è piaciuto: We had a great stay, lovely clean facilities, spacious clean hot showers, lovely people who run it. There was live music on Wednesday that was great and enjoyed by all, a really relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of room for the children to play outside.
Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing to dislike about this campsite the only let down was the planes coming over 😂 Maybe a play area would be nice.

Mi è piaciuto: Location, level pitch, cleanliness of toilets and showers, the Travelling Teapot on-site caterer, helpful staff, nearby access to walking routes, natural surroundings and wild feel
