Campeggio spazioso e curato con piazzole ampie e pianeggianti, ottimi servizi (bagni e docce puliti). Atmosfera adatta alle famiglie, molto spazio per i bambini e vicino ad attrazioni come Barleylands Farm Park. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, molti tornerebbero, alcuni hanno notato piccoli problemi di manutenzione e rumore occasionale.

Free entry to Barleylands.
Non mi è piaciuto Complicated codes for toilets. The fact there were codes anyway meant even our eldest child couldn’t go to the toilet on his own.
Entry to Barleylands was included in the stay, but there wasn’t very much going on and some of the staff working there were rude.
WiFi intermittent so not worth relying on.
A playground on site would have been nice.
CCTV on the pitches was a little strange given very little physical presence of staff on the campsite.

Big clean site great for short stays

Mi è piaciuto Campsite broken down into small sections, so big site didn’t seem overwhelming.
Security gate closed at night.
Non mi è piaciuto Toilets block were small for the size of the campsite, although they were brand new and lovely.
No reception to check you in, all details sent in your confirmation email.

Great site, good sized pitches, very clean

Mi è piaciuto Good sized pitches, lots of space and areas for the children to play. Facilities nice and clean and well positioned, there’s two toilet / shower blocks so you’re never far from one of them. During our stay (only there one night) , saw staff on 3 occasions checking and cleaning the blocks . Pitch very easy to find with good signage directing you to your pitch. Site monitored by cctv and saw a patrol on a few occasions driving round so felt very safe there. Great that you can take a fire pit and sit round the fire at night

Non mi è piaciuto Sewerage smell in places near the toilets. Shower temperature adjustment stuck on very hot.

We are in the process of investigating the smell from the toilet block and we will get the shower temperatures checked. Barleylands is very much a family themed attraction, however we have our craft village nearby which offers many different types of interests including glassblowing and pottery and we also haveEscape beauty on site. We appreciate that not every campsite will always be the preferred campsite for each and every guest, however we do pride ourselves on our excellent nearby facilities, transport connections and proximity to Essex countryside and coastline.

Non mi è piaciuto There is no way to walk to the local farm shop. Both exit gates have padlocks on them which are opposite the shop. A good idea would be to have a public gate with a combination code on it so people who are staying on site can access the shop. It is not walkable due to it being on a main road with no pavement
