Questo campeggio vanta splendide viste su Ullswater e sulle colline circostanti, con ampio spazio per le piazzole. Gli ospiti lodano spesso la proprietaria Sophie per la sua eccezionale cordialità, disponibilità e attenzione. Le strutture sono basiche (WC chimici), ma generalmente pulite e ben tenute. Vicinanza a pub locale e sentieri escursionistici un punto di forza. Alcuni lamentano rumori occasionali dagli altri campeggiatori.

Mi è piaciuto The views of the mountains was lovely. Owner is very friendly and can tell the field is well maintained. We seen her with I assume her children on the last day driving around the site collecting all the rubbish.
Non mi è piaciuto The loos. We knew before we went it was just porta-loos but they weren’t great. The flushes were no good and could see right down on multiple occasions of all peoples waste. Maybe could do with being maintained more often or invest in a proper toilet block. Also think it’s a tad expensive for what it is.

No sleep and very noisy until 1am

Mi è piaciuto The location is a nice location but please be warned if you are coming and expect to have any sleep....it will not happen
Non mi è piaciuto Very noisy. Someones kids were kicking a football around until midnight. There was a group playing drinking games until nearly 1am and and another group playing music until the early hours
I got no sleep which ruined the next day for me I went home early. I would have been better off wild camping
I paid £25 to be kept up most of the night.

Mi è piaciuto Really nice campsite, overlooked the lake and was a beautiful view. The owner Sophie was superb from start to finish, came to introduce herself when we arrived and we had a bit of trouble setting our tent up, so she helped us to set up which was super helpful! Despite the rain we had a lovely stay and visited a local pub a 9 minute walk away, will definitely stay again!

Mi è piaciuto The views from this field are just absolutely amazing 👍🏾 you even get the odd jet flying by sideways 🥸 spotlessly clean site as are the toilets 👍🏾looked after by Sophie ur host and her literal of minions 😉who comes around and literally couldn’t do anymore for her guests to make your stay here amazing stops by for chat daily to make sure Everyone is ok and has everything they need run out of fire wood later on don’t worry she’s even got you covered on that 👍🏾 thanks for an amazing stay from Lee and the boys

Mi è piaciuto Amazing views from the campsite looking over Ullswater. Sophie ( owner ) friendly and helpful. Basic facilities but worth it for the views. We loved that there was no restriction on arrival or leaving times. ( Never seen that before! )
It would be perfect if the description states being respectful of noise levels after maybe 10/11pm . It needs to be stated as kept awake by rowdy lads in tent second night. We do recommend this site and will visit again.
