Winter Hill Grange

Mi è piaciuto: Wonderfully clean caravan with excellent facilities, gorgeous outdoor space that is fenced and safe for children. Breathtaking views are all included. The kids enjoyed visiting the horses and cows in the farm. Also, we were grateful for the extra touches, such as cereal and fresh eggs. There are many things to do in the area as we enjoyed the walk path in that area. The cost is reasonable and booking was very easy.

Non mi è piaciuto: The water heater was not functional when we were there. Perhaps we couldn't switch it on. We weren't particularly bothered, but I'm sure it would have been fixed if we had reported it. Moreover, we were unclear if it is permissible to use the barbecue items that we brought in on site. All in all, the stay was memorable and would highly recommend, thank you!!

Dal gestore: Thank you for your review. I also found that the hot water was not working when i went to clean the caravan after you had left. It had worked when I had cleaned it prior to your arrival. On looking at the boiler in the cupboard to the left as you enter the caravan I found that the dial had been turned down, hence the reason there was no hot water. As this had worked prior to your arrival, the only explanation is that one of your party turned the dial down. A simple turn of the dial and I was able to continue cleaning the caravan for the next guests. Although our listing states no barbecues are allowed we are happy for you to discuss this and provided this is done safely it can be agreed.

Mi è piaciuto: Amazing views, lovely clean caravan which was very welled equipped and nice outdoor area which is securely fenced. We appreciated the extra touches - cereal & fresh eggs - and the kids loved going to see the chickens & horses. There's lots to do nearby, we visited the neighbouring farm for milkshake & spent a day at Whistlestop Valley.

Non mi è piaciuto: Wifi didn't work during our stay. We didn't report it so I'm sure it would have been resolved but we weren't really bothered. I know it might be important to some though.

Mi è piaciuto: Brilliant place to use as a base when visiting the area with beautiful views from the caravan. Well equipped caravan and friendly faces from a slightly different kind of setting.

Non mi è piaciuto: The wifi didn't work for us but we had our own.

Dal gestore: Thank you for the review, much appreciated. We are working on the Wifi right now and this should be rectified by the end of next week. We have Satellite Wifi which is excellent, but, doesn't quite extend to the caravans and therefore has been intermittent. This will be wired underground to the caravans early next week thanks to Stix Internet, our rural internet service provider.

Mi è piaciuto: Great host, beautiful views from the caravan and we loved the farm animals ❤️ the caravan was super clean and had everything you’d need for a few nights stay!

Non mi è piaciuto: Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t working but as we’ve only stayed a couple of night it wasn’t a big issue for us

Mi è piaciuto: Everything! We had such an enjoyable two night stay- the hosts were fantastically welcoming and spent the time to show our children around the farm and introduce them to the animals. The caravan itself is very comfortable and the views from the main windows are simply stunning. Dairy farm next door provides fresh milkshakes which the kids both gave 10/10 for 👌🏻 Would absolutely recommend staying here…we’re already planning for when we can return.

Mi è piaciuto: Had a fantastic break for a week at the farm. A warm friendly welcome and a very clean and organised caravan with everything you need. Mi è piaciuto: Good location in a quiet area. Hosts were friendly. The caravan was also filled with everything that was needed.

Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing in particular except this caravan might feel a bit cramped if staying with older children.
