- Cars cannot access the camping field, therefore roof tents/tent boxes are not permitted. Barbecues are permitted between the hours of 9am and 8pm only.

Campeggio curato e pulito, lodato per ottimi servizi igienici moderni, spesso definiti i migliori. Apprezzata la tranquillità, viste splendide e vicinanza ad attrazioni. Pub, caffè e piscina molto popolari. Alcuni lo trovano costoso per tende, con extra per piscina e mancanza di allacci elettrici. Piccoli nei: pochi carrelli, asciugatura mani limitata, servizio cibo occasionale.

Mi è piaciuto The camp ground was spacious and quiet with stunning views. There was a trolley to bring your luggage and the shower and toilet facilities were the best I've experienced- lockable individual shower rooms with sink,toilet,hot water and powerful cubicle showers.
The site was very pretty and also has a restaurant,swimming pool and spa. There is a Spar shop nearby for supplies.
Non mi è piaciuto On the website it wasn't made clear that the swimming pool is not part of the campsite and is paid separately.although the pool looked fantastic we didn't use it as it was £10 per adult and £5 per child reduced from double this price if you were camping.we felt that for people wanting to explore the area during the day the booking times were quite limited.it would have been nice to perhaps enjoy a day out then have a swim in the evening.

Mi è piaciuto Amazing location. Very friendly welcome. We didn't use the facilities as only stayed two nights but the pool looked great. We were camping and the toilet/shower block was clean and felt modern. Can't fault it.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely superb site. Booked a camping space on the day for a last minute night away, we had a choice of where to pitch up , friendly and helpful staff who welcomed us as new visitors to the site.
We loved the fact the site was car free ; brilliant shower and toilet facilities , a terrific location for a base for many walks in the area . We will definitely take up the opportunity to use the leisure facilities and spa next time .

Mi è piaciuto The pitch was great! Being able to choose where we wanted to pitch up was a nice touch. Luckily we must have landed on a perfect week. Our kids had broke up and some schools clearly haven’t yet so only 3 other tents on the whole camp.
The family shower facilities are top notch! Beautifully clean and spacious. Great water pressure and piping hot. We also used the spa and pool for several hours one of our days which is a great addition to a fantastic camping spot. As we were camping the price was half price of the website prices.
We had a few drinks in the Gamekeepers inn on site but which agin is beautifully decorated and maintained. We didn’t try any food during our short stay.
The staff were truly amazing. Nothing was a problem, very accommodating and so friendly.
Also geographically it’s amazing! Within 5-20 minutes there are several places we visited that are just wonders of the North Yorkshire. Linton Falls is one of them. If you happen upon this campground you must visit.
This really was a break my family and I needed and Long Ashes truly came through for us. 10 out of 10 👍

Non mi è piaciuto Expensive site and not worth the money.
Pool is extra which wasn’t in description so we only found out on arrival. We paid £30 (£10 adults, 5£ children)which I think is very overpriced and pool was cold. Not sure why but pool is very dark, was that supposed to be mysterious atmosphere or romantic? Well it’s not.
Ducks and rabbit poo on the field everywhere. I have a 1 year old and just started walking and he fall a lot and picks everything up so couldn’t let him go to explore.
Grass freshly mowed and was everywhere.
Badly Decomposed dead rabbit in the overgrown grass in the middle of the camping field and one dead rabbit just outside fence where we were staying, which we have cleared as we have small children and they have been very upset.
Only 5 toilets, which was ok for our stay because it wasn’t busy but I can imagine it’s not fun when there is more people.
Small play ground.
No phone signals.
Also we had a couple who put their tent very close to ours, they have decided to have a open fire next to the tent, smoke went everywhere and doesn’t seems that there was anyone there actually checking the site as you not allowed to have a fire there.
