Campeggio spazioso e tranquillo con belle viste, ideale per il trekking sui Tre Picchi dello Yorkshire. Apprezzata la pulizia, i proprietari gentili e l'atmosfera rilassata. Posizione comoda e possibilità di scegliere piazzole. Servizi essenziali ma ben tenuti e un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lamentato occasionalmente rumore del treno e poca illuminazione nei bagni.

Mi è piaciuto Clean toilets with flush. Quiet site at the side of the river. Nice flat walks from site. Very scenic. Flat pitch. Train passed campsite so we took train from Settle to Carlisle. Easy drive to Ribblehead viaduct. Very good phone signal

We were there with young kids on a very hot weekend so the river running right by the site was an absolute highlight!
Non mi è piaciuto There are trains running right by the site, who I assume need to pull the horn to safely pass through the tunnel but disturbed the kids a lot after bedtime until around 10ish

Mi è piaciuto The owner of the site was very helpful as I had not been there before all the facilities were clean. The camping site was well set out and the pitches were all flat will definitely be going back nice walk to Horton

It's a DofE campground and the teenagers arrived late afternoon, left by 8-9am and were polite, quiet and in a different field. Level pitches, no shade, access might be challenging for a motorhome, but campervans were ok.
