Mi è piaciuto: The owners were very helpful and friendly, the children 11,8,7 loved the animals and the camping field was great for them to run around, there's a gate that's kept closed (sign on it that says keep closed children playing)on entry to the site so you feel safe letting the children play. Breakfast butties in a morning if ordered the day before and fresh eggs when available, fire pits to hire for the toasted marshmallows, showers and toilets were clean and looked after,washing up facilities good. Some people left their electric cool boxes plugged in in the kitchen bit (permission of the owners) we had electric hook up which was sufficient for the heater at night and kettle and toaster ( all on at separate times )plus charging of phones/ tablet etc , had a great stay and will be back as central for flamingo land,scarborough, whitby, Robin hood bay.

Mi è piaciuto: Everything about the site boasts family ! The animals are a missive hit , not just for the kids but adults too . If we needed anything, it wasn’t too much to ask . You can order pizza and breakfast baps in advance and also grab fresh coffee and eggs. We loved it so much that if we could, we would have stayed an extra night . Clean shower and toilet facilities. A fridge freezer to use and washing up stations.

Mi è piaciuto: Kids loved the animals. We loved the cleanliness off the facilities and also the use to be able to high a fire pit and the option to order pizzas and coffee was lovely

Mi è piaciuto: The facilities. The beds (in safari tent) were super comfortable. There was nothing the safari tent didn’t have.

Non mi è piaciuto: This isn’t a dislike just more a comment about the listing of facilities in the tent in how the fact there is a decent size and quality cool box available but we didn’t realise this so packed foods accordingly). We also discovered a fridge in the camping wash room area which we thought was a brilliant idea (we are camping amateurs).

Mi è piaciuto: This is a lovely site. Pitches are a great size and our fully serviced pitch having its own water tap next to pitch was a added bonus. The owners are welcoming and friendly and there if you need them but not Intrusive. The food and drinks that you can order are a great price and so are the fire pit hire and logs. The animals are not just good for the kids to enjoy but also some relaxing therapy for the adults too. Our kids enjoyed feeding and stroking the animals and spent a lot of time there. Local shops are only a short drive away as are local nature trecks. We enjoyed our stay and could have stayed longer. Will definitely return again.

Mi è piaciuto: What's not to like, this place is a little gem of a campsite. Small and quiet with big well spaced pitches, and plenty of space for children to play safely. Even my older two enjoyed walking round the paddock with the goats, alpacas, pigs and chickens. Being able to have a campfire was an added bonus and bags of logs and firepit hire wasn't expensive. Facilities are basic but the four individual shower/toilet cubicles are roomy, clean and tidy with hot powerful showers and plenty of hooks for hanging clothes and towels. Never had a wait to use them, even in the mornings. The owners are welcoming and friendly without being intrusive and always on-hand if you need anything. Well placed for visits to Whitby, Scarborough and Filey, with all three being within a 30 minute drive. The centre of Pickering is only 5 minutes drive and there is a good selection of local shops, cafes, pubs and small supermarket.

Mi è piaciuto: This has been our favourite campsite so far. So chilled, welcoming and with lots of space. Hot, powerful clean showers and toilet blocks. We absolutely loved the petting farm, pigs, goats, llamas, ducks all which you can feed with the food provided for just £1 a bag 🥰 Fresh eggs sold on site as well as fresh proper coffee 😋 40 minutes drive to York, Whitby and Scarborough and a 1 hour walk into Pickering Highly recommend and we will definitely be back ♥️

Mi è piaciuto: The surrounding area. the pitch size was perfect for having a bit of space from your neighbours. The site was close to Pickering and not far from the coast or the moors. Hosts were friendly and relaxed and there if we needed them. The animals were a lovely thing to wake up to, and being able to go to see them was nice. The campsite was quiet after 10pm and you barely noticed the children playing around. We liked that you could pre-order food and pick up hot drinks if we wanted them. The price was good, facilities were clean and well stocked.

Non mi è piaciuto: If I have any gripe it is that there could’ve been better signage to the site as it is pretty hidden and the email they sent could’ve said what to do when you get on site, especially if this is your first time visiting.

Mi è piaciuto: Great pitch sizes. Hosts were very friendly. Animals an added bonus, especially the eggs that can be bought. Small, intimate campsite. Showers were powerful. I didn’t find it hard to find the entrance as I checked on google maps beforehand and knew where to turn.

Non mi è piaciuto: Not sure what to do upon arrival as no information received. Called host who said which pitches were available. Could be worth putting in the email that there is no reception so to phone host when you arrive. Bathrooms could do with a little TLC as one hot tap didn’t work in one and one cold tap didn’t work in another. A few of the toilet roll holders were broken and at times the bathrooms were quite dirty (could do with a checking more often). The lights in two were also a bit hit and miss. I also feel there needs to be a shelf in the bathrooms so you have somewhere to put your items that can’t be hung on the hooks. Only minor issues, but the campsite would be 10/10 if they were addressed.
