Mi è piaciuto The hosts were really friendly and showed us around upon arrival. The pitch was secluded and well maintained. The venue was peaceful and the grounds were really pretty, with beautiful wild flower gardens. The facilities were fantastic and available for use at all times.
Non mi è piaciuto The shower rooms and toilets were a little bit grubby and the locks weren't that great. The communal areas could do with a little bit of a spruce but the overall vibe was wonderful, so only small suggestions.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely stunning location. Wonderful owners who are so kind and friendly. Super lovely to my son who had the time of his life ! Wonderfully kept grounds, great yurt. Owners made an effort to show my son the horses because he is mad about animals and the lovely couple on site who are related also let him meet their dogs and were kind when my son was very curious about their home!

Charming escape with thoughtful touches and inspiring rustic style

Mi è piaciuto A stunning location with plenty to do, from enjoying the games room and exploring the beautiful grounds to simply relaxing in the garden. Guests have access to the barn, which features a charming shabby chic style and feels like a slice of the South of France. It’s fully equipped with all the utensils and essentials you’d need for camping, as well as clean washrooms and toilets.
We stayed in the large bell tent, which offered ample space for our family and was thoughtfully stocked with B&B-style comforts, along with plenty of firewood, firelighters, and outdoor cooking equipment. The hosts, Clare and Alex, were incredibly accommodating — they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, while also giving us the space to enjoy the farm at our own pace.
The whole place feels like it’s straight out of Country Living, I’ve come home feeling inspired to recreate it all myself.

Mi è piaciuto Stayed for one night with 2 children. First thing we noticed was the lovely surroundings and the tents placed a well-kept idyllic garden/ woodland setting with plenty of space and privacy.
Was able to park very close to the site and was met by the welcoming and helpful host who showed us around.
The tent itself had plenty of room for all 4 of us and we'll decorated. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets available for cooler weather. At night you can light it up with fairylights and there's also BBQ and firepit available for cozy family evening.
We were surprised a games room was available with fussball table and pool table. And nearby there was a kitchen and bar if you need any food storage or other appliances for cooking/ washing.
Bathroom/ shower area very clean and pretty.
Overall we had a fantastic cozy getaway with the family for day and we would definitely come back

Mi è piaciuto Brakehill farm lodge is in a beautiful location and the property itself is extremely well kept. The family that runs the property prioritizes customer experience over everything and it is apparent from the quality of service. The toilets, kitchen, bar and games area are very well equipped. Heating and lighting in the stay is good and hot water is available for showers. Parking is available just beside the accommodation.

Mi è piaciuto We absolutely loved this site. We stayed on the tent pitches. There was one other family tent pitch on the bank holiday weekend with the shepherd huts and tipi’s set up in separate fields. It felt like we had the place to ourselves with loads of room for the kids to fun around and play hide and seek amongst the trees.
It was windy during our stay but there was a line of trees braking the wind which we hardly noticed. We had one rainy day so we spent that morning in the games room which the kids (3 & 6) loved.
You have everything you need with a kettle, washing up facilities, fridges and charging points. 2 toilets and 2 showers which were kept clean and were always free.
It’s a tranquil and peaceful site based on a quiet farm with the owners available should you need anything. As other reviewers have said the pizzas on Saturday night were fantastic, just make sure you put your order in before. We’ll definitely be back
