Un campeggio tranquillo e ben curato in riva al fiume, apprezzato per la posizione splendida, la vicinanza al traghetto e un buon pub locale. Mi è piaciuto Pretty site beside the river with the chain ferry. Grassy area with mature trees.
Nice pub next to the site.
Lovely clean facilities block ample toilets and showers.
Non mi è piaciuto There was a private function at the pub the weekend we were there so they weren’t doing food which was a shame as it was our last night.
Site got very crowded with vans and tents for the weekend.

Mi è piaciuto The location and site is very nice, being beside the pub and also the small car ferry which crosses the River Yar every few minutes.
Non mi è piaciuto One minor thing and that is that on arrival it wasn't too clear which pitches were available and no one could confirm it.

Mi è piaciuto Stayed on grass, no electric. Great location right next to a pub (not open Monday or Tuesday) and the chain ferry across the fen. The grass/no electric is a big open field - choose your spot. Site and toilets/showers were clean and tidy. Very quiet place. Dinner in the pub on wednesday was great. Didn't meet any staff - but no problems either.
Non mi è piaciuto More of some advice for potential visitors - at least the men. The mens toilets, washbasins and showers are in one large area with suitable partitions. If you visit either before dawn or after dusk, take a lamp. Unless the place is busy you will be plunged into darkness at some point. Only one PIR over entrance door. Light is essential for both seeking soap and toilet paper. I am 80 and don't bend as well as I used to - there is nowhere to put shampoo or soap accessible from the shower other than on the floor. I go equipped with a poly bag and hooks which go over the partitions to keep essentials in whilst showering. Shower farthest from entrance has VERY short time-on push button so single handed washing is necessary.

Mi è piaciuto Great location next to the ferry. Wasn't able to try the Ferry Inn but the Ship and the deli in the village were very good. Nice grass pitches. Toilets and showers were clean and functional. Proximity of railway station is useful

Mi è piaciuto Ferry was good and to sit by river at the pub was pretty.
Non mi è piaciuto Pitches not marked, no sign to tell you where pitch number is. Showers annoying. Press button last about 2 seconds before they go 0ff. Light in gents toilets kept going out so shower in the dark. Pub food basic typical pub grab and very over priced. Gave it a second try but won't be going again. No wifi at all.
