Campeggio tranquillo e spartano con ampi spazi e vista sulla campagna, perfetto per escursionisti (accesso diretto al Ridgeway). Apprezzati semplicità, quiete e check-in facile. Servizi essenziali (WC chimici, docce fredde) generalmente puliti. Alcuni notano esposizione al vento e servizi basilari, altri elogiano il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo e l'atmosfera rilassata.

Mi è piaciuto Great views, close to walking trails and 40 mins walk from pubs and restaurants. Easy to access and check in. Lots of space and even pitches.

Unfortunately we had to increase the price of the fire pits to offset the fact that people just help themselves to wood :(

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches, lovely views over farmland. Direct access to the Ridgeway & miles upon miles of gorgeous walking.
We braved the cold showers after a 3 hour hike along the Ridgeway - bracing!
Easy booking as well as direct contact & speedy responses from Liam at Ridgeway (we were a very large family group so needed to make direct contact prior to booking)
Discount when you camp & book an activity at the Adventure Centre. We booked an axe throwing session & had a great time!
Not far from local amenities but you get the feeling you’re in the middle of nowhere when on site.
Toilets were cleaned & well stocked every day.
Walked to & had Sunday roast at the King William.
We will be back!
Non mi è piaciuto Hard to find things we didn’t like, but I must admit, the price of buying logs on-site was a bit steep at £10 for 4/5 logs a pop. In other places we’ve stayed you get a whole sack (10-15 logs) for £10.
It was very windy one night & we tried to close the shower doors to stop them from swinging open & banging closed during the night but the exterior latches wouldn’t remain secure so it was a bit noisy with the doors banging open & closed.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time!

Sometimes the latches on the showers slip but it's usually an easy fix. If it happens again just call and we can usually walk you through it or send someone out.

Mi è piaciuto Plenty of space, love the fire pits provided (at small cost) close to local amenities but when on site feels like you are away from everything, beautiful views morning and evening and ran by good friendly people. Will definitely be visiting again.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious site and pitches, great views, very clean, no road noise and beautiful walks on the Ridgeway. Easy check in / out process. Full visibility of little ones too so allows them to roam free a bit further. Great for a night or two stay.
Yes the toilets are portaloos, but it clearly states this and they are very clean and well stocked, never had to wait either. Could possibly add a second wash up station in the future - it wasn’t too busy for our stay, but it could at busier times.
