Looking for a long Lincolnshire stay or simply overnighting? No matter which, you’re sure of a warm welcome at Willow Fields Camping, five minutes’ drive from Haxey's shops and pubs. Set in 10 acres of flat Lincolnshire countryside, the site has spectacular views of the surrounding farmland and nature reserves. Once on site, it’s time to kick back and relax, let the kids have a run around the open field – dogs are also welcome, but please keep them on a lead at all times and clean up after them. An arcade and soft play centre with bouncy castles (all at an additional fee) is open on busy weekends, adding more things to do. If you’re self-catering, firepits and barbecues are permitted, but they must be at least a foot off the ground. Firewood can be bought on site, and there’s a bin near the exit for any ash. Not so keen on alfresco cooking? Head to the clubhouse (open Friday and Saturday during peak times), where there is a generous supply of pizzas, burgers and deep-fried goodies. Need a restorative drink after a day’s Lincolnshire adventuring? Call in at the bar for refreshing alcoholic and soft drinks. You’ve also got the option of three pubs within 20 minutes’ stroll. Keeping everyone – and everything – neat and tidy is a doddle, thanks to modern shower facilities, a launderette and washing-up sinks. Getting to Willow Fields is a cinch too, as it’s 10 minutes’ drive from the M180 motorway. Just be aware that the lane up to the site is roughly half-a-mile long and has a 10mph speed limit.

Questo campeggio è apprezzato per il personale, molto cordiale e disponibile. Le famiglie amano l'intrattenimento: luna park, soft play, sala giochi e maxi schermo. Il sito è pulito, soprattutto bagni e docce. Alcuni notano che le tende sono vicine e a volte mancano bagni/docce nei momenti di punta. Il luna park, attivo nel weekend, diverte molto i bambini.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent for families who have kids.nice campsite tucked away from the main road.with plenty of space for kids to play.bar on site and also a small arcade.also a fairground but only for the summer season I believe.plenty of walks nearby if you fancy it.staff were excellent we will be back.

Mi è piaciuto The site was in a nice location. I liked how they arrange for entertainment ie: funfair, singer, big screen.

Non mi è piaciuto When the funfair and entertainment isn't there, there's no park or play area for the children. There a campsite train but adults have to go on with children and pay the same price which just seems to be a money-making gimmick. The pitches are quite small and when we arrived we weren't even put together even though I requested by email weeks prior, that our party was pitched together. The water in the shower was freezing cold (too cold to get in) and there are no shower curtains so you have to get dry on a wet concrete floor. The bin in the pot cleaning area was overflowing with rubbish and maggots and we saw it in the same state for 2 days so I don't know how often they clean! All in all, we were all really disappointed and won't be returning.

Mi è piaciuto It was just a kid friendly place to be. Strict rules for night time and early morning. Let's be fair tents are thin and kids make a noise.
The entertainers and kids space was recently priced.

Mi è piaciuto After reading all the comments before booking I had reservations but thought I would take the risk and book. The staff and owners were amazing a great welcome and a secure site. Loved the fact that there was a bar onsite and options for the kids when it was wet outside. You can really see how the owners are creating a fun filled camping trip with a funfair. It was great to have the showers again not sure what others disliked given its a campsite and not a 4 star hotel they were what i expected and really well looked after. The owner was really helpful and approachable and get involved with the campers. If your looking for a site that has both entertainment and beautiful scenery then this is a great site to visit.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike just an observation some campers were not respectful with leaving there litter everywhere, there are plenty of bins.
Would have been good to have option to order pizza till about 8pm, especially when you venture off camp and don’t get back before the 7pm cut off. But overall nothing we really disliked about the site

Mi è piaciuto The site was clean and spacious. The facilities that we used we're good and there was stuff for the kids to do on the weekend too. Value for money was excellent.

Non mi è piaciuto If I had to pick anything at all, its maybe that there could be a couple more toilets and showers. But thats being very nit picky.

Mi è piaciuto Staff were amazing and incredibly hospitable. Pitch was excellent with electric and water. Toilets were clean and accessible. Showers were spacious and hot, with some grass and mud towards the end of the day but were on a camp site not a hotel! Excellent entertainment on weekends with a bar and a funfair with food.
Definitely coming back. Excellent camp site!

First stop might be the circular walk around Rush Furlong nature reserve – right outside the site gates – a wildflower meadow scattered with rare green-winged orchids, oxeye daisies and primroses. Potteric Carr Nature Reserve (25 minutes’ drive) is another wildlife haven teeming with wading birds in the lagoons and reed beds, plus meadows full of butterflies in summer. Yorkshire Wildlife Park (20 minutes) has a daily schedule of keeper talks and animal encounters to keep the whole family entertained, as well as a dinosaur trail and soft-play centres for younger kids – who will also probably adore meeting goats, ponies and wallabies at Shepherds Place Farm (five minutes). Rainy day? The historic market town of Epworth has a leisure centre with pool and gym to keep everyone distracted from the weather, as well as indie boutiques to browse. Red-brick Epworth Old Rectory (both five minutes) was the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley, founders of Methodism, and is open in summer for tours of its period rooms.
