Grange Farm Orchard

Mi è piaciuto Lovely setting (fenland has a look all of its own!). Fabulous hosts, friendly and very helpful, replaced gas cylinder straightaway despite it being a bank holiday. Just a few other campers, quiet and peaceful. Site used for Cadwell Park weekend which worked perfectly. All facilities offered worked better than expected.

Mi è piaciuto This was a lovely little site to visit.
It’s an enclosed area separated from the farm and house with apple, pear and plum trees to pitch between.
I was lucky enough to have the space for just myself and my dog so I didn’t have to consider where to park or where guy lines went and I left the front porch of the tent open at night to keep the air flowing as it was another warmer than forecast weekend!
The owners were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Facilities wise the compostable toilet was clean and the kitchen area was well stocked. I didn’t use any of the equipment but there was also a deckchair and parasol (with a base) should you like to use them.
It was a lovely quiet area with horses nearby and very little traffic on the road.
The location was handy for what I needed and it was a short drive to get to the main road.
Phone signal was patchy if you need to work etc!

Mi è piaciuto Campsite owners great and help full, lovely people and a curious friendly, family dog. I asked if it was possible before arrival, to get a small slab so i could put my big fully loaded ADV Motorbike kick stand on. Motor bikers are more than welcome here, I would definately come back again in the future.

The site is great as a minimalist campsite, Theirs a Green wooden building onsite with Cold running drinkable water which contains a sink and a side board to prepare food on. You`ll need to bring your own cutting board, however ;)

Their is not a lot of site rules, but the main one is, after 10pm keep the noise down for your fellow neighbours.

You can use this campsite as a base of operations to go out exploring the local area, towns and sample the local cuisine and shops, as well as a 10-20 mins drive to Skegness (Skeg`Vegas) and the beach.

Non mi è piaciuto Ground was hard, but that was down to the UK sustained recent hot weather and lack of rainfall.

Mi è piaciuto Very beautiful little site! So peaceful. The family that run it are incredibly lovely and friendly, as are their pets! We were very kindly given apples from the trees so we’ve enjoyed 2 crumbles since getting home! We explored the coast which was half an hour away and discover Moggs eye beach which was a big hit with our three little children. We were just wanting a stop over to break up a journey from Norfolk to York but it’s so nice there we hope to return.

Non mi è piaciuto If you’re not a fan of a composting toilet and no shower this isn’t the site for you!

Mi è piaciuto I was lucky to have the whole orchard to myself. Peace and quiet and just the sounds of birds. Lovely hosts.
