Mi è piaciuto: Camp site really nice We stayed in a pod was lovely and warm Shower block clean

Non mi è piaciuto: Was no bar and pool they never told us untill day off arrival There was a bar close but did not open untill 6 and not serving food

Mi è piaciuto: The site it's self was nice,good clean facilities,nice location,liked the hard standing pitches.

Non mi è piaciuto: I was very disappointed and upset to learn that the clubhouse and swimming pool were closed,these facilities were the reason why myself and my family with children and our friends specifically booked to travel to this site,I was annoyed to find out also that both club/pool had been closed for some time.It was a shame that it let a nice site down.

Dal gestore: we can only apologize as the power was down dew to the bad storms we had that week so the pool and the bar could not be open the electricians are working on it as we speak and all will be good for the weekend 11.05.2024 but if you would like to come again I am sure we can sort out a free night or something or a meal in our restaurant etc. for your inconvenience park manger

Non mi è piaciuto: Lovely little site, clean toilet/shower facilities. Had a fab weekend with family and friends, the sunshine definitely helped. HOWEVER, we purposely booked this site as indoor pool and bar/club house were listed on the facilities. When first guest from our group arrived they were informed that the pool and bar were both closed due to roof damage/no power. Later into our stay we was told that the bar hasn't been open since last year and the pool hasn't been open for a long time. Not one of us in our party received any info informing us of this. On the Sunday of our stay we noticed that the pool and bar had both been removed from the facilities list on pitchup but info of these facilities were still included in the description of the site. Very disappointed that these were fausly advertised

Dal gestore: hello thank you for your comments and we glad you had a great time this winter has been very challenging for us all i would like to invite you to our grand opening of our new bar and stunning new bear garden set on the river bank with open views across the river and our private mooring we have 10 picnic tables were you can enjoy a nice glass of vino or a chilled pint after you have taken a dip in out lovely swimming pool which is now open for the season

Mi è piaciuto: Absolutely nothing, walk with the dogs everyday by the river and a pub at the end of it

Non mi è piaciuto: Booked this site with our kids and when we rang to say we was running late Friday, they said no problem, when arrived and all settled Saturday morning to find the bar, restaurant and swimming pool was all closed due to an issue but when we walked to the pub down the road was told by many people in the local pub the campsite pub restaurant and swimming pool has been shut for many years but they are still charging for these services and it’s not provided.

Non mi è piaciuto: Booked a hard standing pitch got put on the grass which was waterlogged all my equipment was covered in mud had to use my car to pull all the other vans off as it was the only 4 wheel drive not a very good stay

Dal gestore: Thank you for your review. We have option for grass pitches only, so not sure which one is your booking. There was few days with bad rain and the field was muddy but unfortunately we cannot control the weather.

Mi è piaciuto: We love this place its so peaceful and quiet! Toilets and showers always clean and owners very polite.

Mi è piaciuto: Absolutely everything! We've been here several times and will continue to visit here as we love it so much! Lovely quiet site, the managers/owners ate very friendly and welcoming and are always helpful. There's a park for the children to play on and a swimming pool for the warmer days! We look forward to returning here each time.

Non mi è piaciuto: Owner could do a bit more to make fishing more accessible although there was so much duck weed the river was un-fishable on our visit.

Mi è piaciuto: Accommodation was great value and provided us with everything we needed. Loved to the layout and really liked the bar and entertainment . Would definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends

Mi è piaciuto: There is plenty of space to set everything up, and the toilet and shower block nearby. Lovely and quiet, but can go and join in at the bar if you want with pool table and swimming pool.

Non mi è piaciuto: Only thing I could say is that when the grass is.cut the cuttings are left and I had grass absolutely everywhere but other than that, I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back.
