Mi è piaciuto: Right next to lake amazing view great price for money family friendly great fishing caught loads of fish may be nothing big ie carp but was amazing for my son catching fish clean tidy can’t fault a thing about lake view quiet I was so impressed I defo be going again

Mi è piaciuto: The site is beautifully set out with lakes. There are ducks and ducklings geese with gosling wandering about and lovely site
Non mi è piaciuto: The only thing is 3 touring pitches and pods Aswell as shepherds hut but only one toilet and shower situated at each end of pods but very clean .

Mi è piaciuto: Stunning place, very secure and well equipped. Toilet and shower very clean. Quiet and well look after. 20min walking distance shop and pub. Allowed to use own wood for fire pit but also availability to buy on site for reasonable price. Just perfect if you like quiet holiday with your family.

Mi è piaciuto: What a lovely place to stay! We stayed in one of the pods! It was the perfect size with everything needed, it was clean and cozy! The site had a nice view of the fishing lake, our dogs also loved their stay. The facilities, toilets showers etc were spot on and also very clean. Rachel was lovely and came to check everything was OK for us once we'd checked in. It's nice that the pods have a fire pit ans a place for a disposable bbq outside too. We will definetly stay again xx

Mi è piaciuto: 3rd time here. This time all 4 of our family in the Hive and the Hideaway. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay had by all. Nice meal out at a local pub and a day in Skegness with a bit of fishing thrown in.

Rifugio del pastore The Hideaway
Mi è piaciuto: We took our grandson on his first fishing weekend and could not have chosen a better site for this experience. We stayed in the The Hideaway, Shepherds hut which was brilliant. Although small had everything you needed, 3 of everything, induction hob, microwave, toaster, fridge with small freezer, torch, caffetriere and a teapot! Small sitting area in the hut along with a double bed and single bunk over the top. There's under floor heating too, to make it cosy when needed. Outside area is hugh, large sofa area and large wooden table overlooking the lake on the veranda. Lower level, is the fire pit, BBQ, another sitting area and parking. Lowered again is the fishing staging. A few short steps away is a single toilet and single shower block, which is spotless. The site is very clean, tidy and well maintained. Nice to see thoughts has been used with the placing of the units, no one feels you are on top of your neighbours. Lovely welcome, extremely peaceful and looking forward to our return very soon.
Non mi è piaciuto: A couple of very small points. There where sachets of tea and coffee out on arrival but no milk? Perhaps this was overlooked on change over. But no real issue. Regarding the Willow next to fishing peg, this could be do with cutting back next winter, as it does means you have too watch out when casting out, and it does look as though others have found the same issue as there is a float decoration hanging on the tree.
