Nice view over the fields and lovely sunrise.
Plenty of open space.

Non mi è piaciuto Difficult to find, with no sign posts to indicate there is camping or even the name of the farm. Had to call for directions/ clarification.
Farmyard looks a bit like a scrapyard.
Didn’t use the portaloos, didn’t look great.

Mi è piaciuto Location was good cheep and simple and the animals. The cows came in the field in the morning

Non mi è piaciuto All field was covered in cows poo, we struggled to find a good spot without it.
There was no water on the field, I knew there was no showers etc and I was more than happy with that but drinking water is a must so quite disappointing we couldn't find it. Went back home after few hours.

Mi è piaciuto Very chilled farm owners, lovely, quiet location. Suprise - a wonderful communal area, with seating, large fire pit, festival style set up. Also, lots if horses linjed to farm which were brill to spend time with.

Mi è piaciuto Easy to access off the M1 as a stop off on the way across the country.
Pleasant spot for wild camp.
Friendly and accommodating owner.

Mi è piaciuto I love the idea of it being a farm, it’s nice to be close to animals, with chickens round the corner and friendly horses. I also like the ease of driving in and pitching up, you’re free to choose where you go which is lovely.

Non mi è piaciuto There was so much cow poo covering the camping field, my young children couldn't run around without getting covered in it, Not great when there isn't a water supply to wash them down. Also not great if your dog loves a poo roll!
The large group of men at the entrance to the field must be regular campers, they have built camping structures on site. were parting with extremely loud music till 5am keeping us all awake. They were aware we had young children in our group.

Mi è piaciuto I liked the helpful and friendliness shown by the owner Carol. I was directed to pitch my tent anywhere in one of the fields provided.This farm provided very basic wild camping with big wide open fields. I also liked that it was very peaceful and quite. The only facilities on the farm are Porta toilets and a few minutes drive away water point. The field I stayed on was mainly sloped but there was also many flat areas on it that I found.

Non mi è piaciuto I would have preferred a pot washing facility but it wasn't a problem to was pots at my tent.

Mi è piaciuto Nice and peace full like that fact the cows just walk round which made my time there great as love animals will be returning soon

- Out of the way
- Good views all around
- Nice owners
- Basic but reflected in price
- Told to help ourselves to firewood if needed
- Animals close-by

Non mi è piaciuto - Single water point quite a long walk from field
- Only 1 portaloo by way of facilities, though very clean
- Working field so cow manure all over, some fresh
