Mi è piaciuto: This was a beautiful little campsite, pitch, toilets and showers were kept very clean… Fire pits and wood provided for a small charge and the family were very welcoming and friendly, lovely 25 min walk to shops and two great dog friendly pubs in the village and all round great connection to other walking areas ….definitely stay here again..

Mi è piaciuto: Friendly owners, lots of drinking water and even though it rained the whole time we had a lovely time and the tent didn't flood! The owners gave us fire wood and a fire pit and the cat was very sweet!

Mi è piaciuto: The pitch was flat and on grass. The Shower and Toilet block was clean and the showers were hot. Henry what a friendly chap!

Mi è piaciuto: fantastic and friendly owners who are always around if you need anything. Toilets and showers are kept spotless, basic but do what they need to. 2 villages are withing walking distance.

Mi è piaciuto: Arrived late afternoon and picked my own pitch which gave me.plenty of space. The grass is very well kept and relatively level. The hosts came round later that evening to make sure I was happy and asked if I needed anything. Firepits are allowed off the ground but I didn't use mine. The toilets and showers are exceptionally clean and there is a great pot wash area and elsan disposal point. I met the very friendly farm cat and had a chat with the hens! They came running over to see if I had any goodies for them! The views are gorgeous around the site which is small but has everything you need. It had a lovely homely feel and I could tell that the hosts love it too. WiFi was top notch.
Non mi è piaciuto: It's fairly close to the road so you do get some road noise and I was pitched near a small group of lads who were very noisy til around 2am. Neither of these are the fault of the host.

Mi è piaciuto: Stayed for 1 night in our campervan while exploring Blue John Cavern and Mam Tor with my dad and my young daughter. This is exactly the type of campsite we love, very basic, pick your own pitch, basic but very clean shower and toilet facilities, and owner very friendly and clearly enjoys what he does and chatting to everyone. I'm sure we'll return!

Mi è piaciuto: The location, the friendliness of the owner, clean and well maintained showers/toilets. Also lovely to buy eggs laid by the onsite chickens and meet the cat that came to see us while we were brushing our teeth!
