Mi è piaciuto Fantastic site, very clean and specious. We met the owner Gill and she is lovely! Made us feel right at home straight away. The games room was a big hit with my children, and being train mad my youngest loved being next to the railway! We will most certainly be booking here again!

Mi è piaciuto Nice big pitch, clean facilities and not too busy

Non mi è piaciuto Extremely low water pressure. Sometimes no water at all. Both times I tried to have a shower there was no water. No hot water one day to wash pots and just a trickle of cold water.

The trainline ( which obviously can't be helped) would put us off going again as the trains wake you up it is so close to the field.

The play park was under maintenence so couldn't be used.

Mi è piaciuto We have just returned from a stay at Hope Valley Holidays. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. Gill and Andy were both lovely and made our stay perfect. The facilities are clean and well signposted, the grounds are well kept and the location is perfect. We will definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto Lots of great facilities that are free to use within the price of the pitch ie. Fridges freezers, phone charging plugs, kettle, games as well as all the usual things.
The staff/owners on site were amazing and were a life saver when needed! I had some car issues and they went the extra mile to help out! I can’t thank them enough for the amazing experience! Would definitely recommend and visit again

Mi è piaciuto Welcoming owner, spaced out pitches with nice short grass. Ample toilet/shower facilities which were very clean and well maintained. Easy access to site from A road and 10 min walking distance to pub for a great evening meal.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site surrounded with amazing views.
My three teenage children really enjoyed the games. Room spent quality time together during our stay.
The owners are very friendly and happy to help. We loved the added touch of washing up bowls and washing liquid in the cleanup area.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious site, with a level family field and clean, well maintained facilities with a good supply of hot water. I particularly liked the games room with free to use games, and ample fridge/freezer provision.

Non mi è piaciuto The site is close to an unexpectedly busy road, and railway line.
Problems with water pressure result in unreliable taps and showers.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely welcome, shown options of where to pitch and where all facilities were. Felt comfortable to ask questions for help if we need to.
Excellent location, walkable 10 mins to pub and on into hope, there is also regular bus service to castleton and beyond.
Excellent base for mam torr and kinder.
Toilets and shower block clean and up to date. Shower is your own cubicle with plenty of hooks for clothes and is big enough to shower and change in. Washing up facilities good with washing up liquid, dish brush and washing up bowl.
There is an out building with; fridges, freezer, pool table, darts, table tennis. It's also a great bolt hole for those with small tents needing to sit inside if poor weather. You could change phone if no power bank.
Plenty of space on pitches.
Super excited to see what they do with the cafe and expansion plans.

Non mi è piaciuto There was intermittent low water pressure but this is due to the water company supply and the owners are trying everything they can to improve it. It did not stop us from showering, just took a little longer and it would not put us off coming back.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic location, close to all the nearby tourist attractions without feeling touristy. Plenty of space across the multiple fields, including a family field and an adult field. Top notch facilities, seemed brand new and cleaned throughout the day. Great washing up station with plenty of stocked sinks. Lovely owners, with plenty of advice for the local area. They recommended The Curry Cabin and it was fabulous food! We loved the site so much we asked to stay longer! Will definitely be back with the kids next summer.

Mi è piaciuto Clean facilities, electric showers, games room providing activities for an evening, location.

Non mi è piaciuto The trainline which ran directly next to the campsite and consistently had trains running on it throughout the night, which was mentioned in one sentence, at the end of a long paragraph.
