Kedvelték Great base for exploring the Cotswolds, Cheltenham & Gloucestershire area. The site is extremely well kept and the facilities are immaculate. There’s a great secure field for dogs. Staff are friendly.

Nem kedvelték The only downside (which is well publicised) is the noise from the road and the airport. If you want a quiet, tranquil site then this probably isn’t the one for you.

Our convenient location just off the M5, together with the regular bus service right outside the park to both Gloucester and Cheltenham, certainly makes getting out and about incredibly easy.

It's also great to hear our location worked so well for you. Having the regular bus service just outside the park makes getting into Cheltenham and Gloucester so easy and is a real bonus for guests who fancy leaving the car or motorhome behind.

Thank you too for your fair comments about the road noise. Our convenient location does mean traffic can be heard at times, so we're especially pleased that it didn't detract from your overall enjoyment and, most importantly, wouldn't stop you coming back.

Having the bus stop just outside the entrance, along with such easy access to the main road network, certainly makes exploring Cheltenham, Gloucester and the surrounding area very straightforward.

We're glad you enjoyed watching the aircraft too! Being close to Gloucestershire Airport means there can be light aircraft activity during the daytime, which quite a few of our guests actually enjoy watching, while evenings are generally much quieter once flying finishes.

Thank you also for your feedback regarding the push-button showers. We appreciate that the timing isn't to everyone's preference, and it's something we'll keep in mind when considering future improvements to our facilities.

It's wonderful to hear our location worked so well for you too. With regular buses to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, along with the excellent cycle routes nearby, there are plenty of ways to get out and explore without needing to take the car or motorhome.

Having Asda and plenty of other shops within walking distance not to mention the Harvester for a meal or a drink.

We're pleased to hear you appreciated our location and the excellent bus service to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, although we're sorry that you found the background noise particularly noticeable during your one-night stay.

We do feel it's important to clarify for anyone considering a stay with us that we're very open about our location. Briarfields is situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester, close to the main road network and Gloucestershire Airport, and this is clearly described throughout our park information and booking descriptions. We also specifically advise guests that some traffic and light aircraft noise can be heard at times.

We provide this information before booking precisely because we want prospective guests to understand our setting and decide whether it's right for them. We're not a remote rural campsite; one of Briarfields' biggest advantages is its incredibly convenient location, with Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Cotswolds, the M5, cycle routes and regular public transport all exceptionally easy to access.

We completely appreciate that sensitivity to background noise varies enormously. Many of our guests tell us they barely notice it, while others are naturally more sensitive to it, and we fully respect that.
