N'a pas aimé Portaloo wasn’t nice, it’s quite a walk from the top of the site to the toilet and shower block. Someone to greet us on site and explain things would have been useful. Pitch isn’t allocated

A aimé Quiet clean Site, they were helpful, large pitch. Bar onsite but we didn't use it.

N'a pas aimé Toilet and chemical/grey waste was quite far from the pitch, Pitchup states 16 amp electric but ours tripped and we had to set it to 10amp. Kids were playing football on the field and our caravan was hit by the ball.

N'a pas aimé Very impersonal site, never saw anyone, anpr to get in and pitch is already allocated. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers so when it’s busy you’re queuing. Pitches are very close and a lot of people will just walk accords your pitch and the same with children playing on bikes. Pitch was a bit pricey for electric only Also for our stay the cafe caravan was closed.

A aimé Quiet site, waste water on pitch.

N'a pas aimé Toilets and Showers heating was off so very cold inside. Nobody was there available to greet us when we arrived so couldn’t put out number plate in the anpr, this proved problematic during our stay. Water tap was push button and took a long time to fill our aqua roll. Our pitch was on a slope and we didn’t have side to side levelling.

The park is now under new management, and we've made changes to ensure the office is staffed and open to welcome all guests throughout the day. For any late arrivals, we can happily make alternative arrangements in advance if notified. Regarding the facilities, as noted in our listing and previous feedback, hot water is available at all times in the shower block. During the quieter winter period (with lower occupancy), our central heating system operates on a timer to manage energy use efficiently and sustainably—this doesn't impact the constant hot water supply. We're committed to improving and providing a warm welcome and great stay for everyone. A aimé Nice quiet and well looked after campsite, enjoyed our stay.

N'a pas aimé We had a problem on the day of arrival and could not leave until late arriving at around 9pm, we called several time’s to confirm late arrival to be told yes all is ok that’s no problem. Upon arrival the gentleman was quite upset rude with my wife about arriving late. Their directions state to use Waze to get there, I tried it but Waze takes you on the “car route”, there is a better route if you have a caravan. We struggled with WiFi and mobile signal

We do normally ask that all guests arrive by 8:00 PM, especially now as the nights are drawing in. If you type the postcode into Waze it does bring you direct to the entrance. I will look into the matter to see what route it could have taken you along.

N'a pas aimé No Wi-Fi at all, when we did see it we needed a key for it. When we towered caravan up to pitch there wasn’t much space to turn around so had to un hitch and use motor mover. Seems like tourer caravans were just a bonus to them, static caravans had way better views we only had trees around us. Not much light around path to pitch

A aimé Got a hard pitch as weather was bad, that's where it ended. Was ok as a single night stop over. No food facilities available, luckily that wasn't a problem.

N'a pas aimé Was told to move down to the corner as a small camper was moving soon, but within minutes campers arrived and told to park where I was going. Had a long motorhome so had to park longways, and the slope was quite bad, even with my levellers. Wasn't shown where the facilities were so had to work it out on my own. There were plenty of hard pitches available over the road but I was not given the option

Réponse du gestionnaire : I'm very sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience at my site. I can only apologise for not having told or shown you where the facilities were, its very out of character. I hope to put in food facilities at some point but I have not had the site long and there are many other things I need to do first. The site across the road is for Caravan and Motorhome members only so I was unable to offer you a pitch there. Due to the horrendous amount of rain the whole country has suffered from I was unable to offer you a grass pitch but rather than cancel peoples bookings I have tried to accomodate by using other areas. I hope you have more success with other sites. Kind regards Katie
