N'a pas aimé We book this campsite because fireplaces and bbq was allowed on time of booking. Unfortunately after arrival, rules was changed without any information passed to us: so we cannot setup any firepit/bbq device. It was rainy week, still was raining, ground was soaked and more rain in forecast. I try to contact owner, is any changes to no fire policy due to rain, but we do not get any response, nobody pick the phone. So i left voicemail message. After another 20 minutes waiting for call back, we left the site, because we do not wanna sit on field in rain without fire. Still, after 2 days of initial message left to owner (on voicemail) Lost money and chance to camp. Misadvertized.

A aimé Rural location with private area around hut Hut is large - bigger than most we visit before with spare bedroom for kids or use ad"waredrobe" Close enough to most Welsch attractions Owners are really nice people In case of any request/questions owners responds quickly If weather is not great - there is nice mobile network coverage.

N'a pas aimé Not sure - for us was a perfect spot, somebody may not like weather - site is exposed to wind, or narrow steep roads leads to farm. But this is why You should expect in Welsh countryside.

A aimé We really enjoy our stay, but this is not a campsite for everyone. If You wanna party all night long - find different spot. But if You looking quiet place - You will love this. + Pitch quality (grass) no problem to hook a tent with plastic pegs, terrain is mostly flat + Power sockets to recharge power bank or phone + Fridge and freezer available + Darkness in night - perfect for stargazing + Short distance to toilets/showers/dishwashing area + Nice, friendly hosts/owners + Fire pits + Hot food (limited choice) available on site (opening time is on display) + Calmness and quiet (playground is on side, so no screaming, kicking ball kids running next to tent) no music policy is working - nobody force own music taste for everyone. + Not far away from Rhyl, Prestatyn and north coast (15-20 minutes by car)

N'a pas aimé - Virtually no public transport there. If You wanna spend night at pub, or leave car on pitch, all buses (to Rhyl or Denbingh) are from City of St. Asaph 2,5 miles away. But if You walk there, this not make any sense to use buses, just because... there are Pubs/shops/takeaways as well. No shortcuts to go there because river Clwyd ;) - 4G network is around, but in "peak hours" - signal strenght fluctuate and is tricky to make stable connection. I've seen some guests walking across site with "phones up" trying to find anything. This is common problem in many popular/busy places - here A55 road has own contribution to this: how many people login same transmitter, at same time. So if You wanna watch streaming service - bad news, unless off-peak hours. This experience may vary depends on network.

A aimé Close to seaside Friendly and helpfull owners Clean toilets/utilities Nearby brewery with local brewed beer sold on site (bottled as well) You can buy literaly everything in nearby village: grocery, pertol, fire wood or DIY (tools)

N'a pas aimé No sidewalk to nearby village - and not much space for pedestrians in narrow village streets. No much traffic at roads, but this is not great. Because of this, is better use car to go short distance to seaside, but bear in mind: car park is 5 qiud per day (close to coast) pay by cash or mobile app, which is difficult due to lack signal neraby ticket machine. Not easy when cycling as well due to difficult terrain: hills, narrow roads.

A aimé Remote location On farm Sheep view ;) Cosy Hut Friendly owner/supervisor Campfire place outside with BBQ crate Not far away from seaside (Prestatyn/Rhyl) by car Mobile phone charging cable from build in battery (no 230V sockets at Hut), Hut is powered by solar panel - eco friendly. Car park nearby Hut Small garden with 2 recliner garden chairs

N'a pas aimé Not great mobile coverage, but with little effort You can catch a signal.

N'a pas aimé Toilets and utilities are small. Not a issue with small number of guests, but be prepared to wait in que in busy periods.
