A aimé Everything really. Dani was very helpful. Cafe was great. Peaceful level pitches and very spacious

Réponse du gestionnaire : It’s been jet washed and scrubbed today! Once again we can only apologise but it has been sorted! Has a lovely grip on the concrete now so should be fine! Thank you for your honest review - we know we aren’t perfect but we are really trying!!

A aimé Very peaceful. Small friendly site. Dani was extremely friendly and informative. Very clean toilet and shower. Well kept site. Fishing lake was beautiful.

N'a pas aimé Only 3 toilets and 2 showers. We was OK as it was quiet but wouldn't like to experience it at busy times. Elsan point next to washing up area

A aimé Nothing. No view of the sea due to mountain of stones. Pitch was narrow but long amd just a mess of mud. Didn't stay in the end as was not happy to pay high price.

Our pitches are maintained to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, and we do rest areas where possible to help keep them in good condition. After a busy season, grass pitches take time to recover from heavy use. Our pricing reflects the location, facilities, and overall quality we aim to offer, which we believe provides good value for the experience. At £10 per person per night as an all season rate, we believe it is excellent value. We appreciate all feedback and will take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve. Booked a hardstanding and grass but on arrival was offered a larger pitch on grass with fantastic sea views. 5 minute walk to the village which has 3 pubs fish and chip shop post office and local shop selling a variety of goods. Pitch was quite level, plenty of choice for water taps. Facilities were very clean , but could do with another toilet/shower block especially during peak times. Becca was extremely accommodating and friendly. Dark skies for star gazing. Perfect for exploring North devon and North Cornwall. Will definitely return.

A aimé Absolutely everything was fantastic, site was perfectly clean and tidy, facilities were clean all the time and upto date. Bar and garden was great, food was fantastic. Best nachos I've ever had. Staff were very friendly and lovely. Can't wait to return in a couple of weeks, already rebooked.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your recent visit Yes Chycarne is a great campsite for families as you mention. All Campsites during the school holidays are very busy in Cornwall as you say. All pitches are a minimum of 10m x 8m Plenty of room for a tent and car. Not all pitches have sea views as you say. Pitch was level and great facilities. A bit harsh on the over all score given that all the positive comments Chycarne

A aimé The views are amazing. Close to the coastal walk paths. Dog friendly. Spacious site. Friendly staff. Didn't use facilities so cannot comment.

N'a pas aimé Sloping field hardly any flat space. No house to the chemical disposal point, had to rinse out using a bucket so water goes everywhere!
