A aimé We had a lovely spot by the lake with our own decking. Even after being there only a couple of hours, felt like we’d been there ages. Very peaceful and relaxing. Ideal location right on the Medway Valley river walk. We walked our dog one way in the morning, and the other way in the afternoon. The on site cafe is very good. Good menu with reasonable prices. The evening was idyllic…sitting on our reclining chairs by the lake with our lights on with a bottle of wine. Think we will be returning often, as we were looking for a site in reasonable distance for frequent weekends away.

A aimé Small, spacious site. Very peaceful. Woods to walk in and open ground next to it. Very hot when we went, but we were allocated a lovely spot under trees…a large plot. Showers, toilets and washing areas cannot be faulted and looked very new. A few family groups, was school holidays, but still quiet. Everyone very friendly from our fellow campers to the lovely friendly lady in the office, who welcomed us. Good to find a site like this that is only 40/45 mins away. So easy for a quick relaxing weekend without the travel.

A aimé Had a perfect pitch on the riverside. Beautiful spot. Lovely watching the river being used…swimming, kayakers, paddle boards… When it got dark, the fire pits looked really nice. Found a good dog walk and stopped for a coffee at Teapot Island. Also, had an evening drink at the local pub only 5 mins walk away. Friendly owners.
