A aimé Great location for Tenby and surrounding beaches. Direct private access to Manorbier beach which is fab for water sports and rock pooling. Toilets and showers are clean. Washing up facilities are great.

N'a pas aimé Sloping pitches you should be aware of and plan accordingly. Also, whilst it is always good to have a digital detox, not being able to contact anyone nor use maps is unhelpful. The site recommend buying WiFi but this is impossible due to not having wifi. Hey ho.

A aimé Quiet site

N'a pas aimé No wifi or any phone signal whatsoever which, as a solo female traveller, I found disconcerting and made me feel vulnerable for the first time on this trip. Lake walk was nice but you can’t go round, just a straight path which is blocked at both ends.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As Lakeside is in a rural setting a strong phone signal cannot be guaranteed. There is a phone box located a few minutes walk away for any emergencies if you don't get signal. You cannot walk all the way around the lake as part of the walk is within the grounds of Castle Howard which you need a ticket to enter. It is definitely worth a visit. We will pass on your feedback to the relevant teams.

A aimé Friendly staff, site immaculate, toilet block like a 4 star hotel. Great communication via email as a road was closed nearby. Very helpful indeed

A aimé Wayne the owner is fab. Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Shower and toilet block were immaculate as were the lawns.
