A aimé I took my 3 children camping at Coast and Camp light for 2 nights in the tent field and we all had a wonderful time. We loved the wild feel of the pitches and my children adored playing hide and seek in the long grass. The site is peaceful and in a great location, close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax/play. My youngest loved the chickens and they kept her occupied whilst I washed up in the little outdoor sink. The “honesty caravan” was fab too. Beacon farm ice creams were a winner! The owners are friendly and welcoming and we all can’t wait to return for another camping trip. Oh and a big thank you to Ed for jump starting our car when I accidentally drained the battery. Lifesaver!

A aimé We booked a long weekend (child free) to tick off some Wainwrights. The location is perfect for that as you can reach the Caldbeck fells in 20 mins. The pitch was great: level and plenty of room. Loved the views over the hills. All the facilities were spotless and the showers were warm. We had a fabulous weekend and will be booking again for later in the year to tick off a few more Wainwrights.

A aimé Perfect location to explore the fells. Great being on a bus route so easy to get to and from towns like Keswick and Grassmere. Pitches were flat and we could choose where was best suited for us. Beautiful scenery all around and very peaceful.
