A aimé Great beach side location. Ideally positioned for visiting the Valley of the Trmples

N'a pas aimé Toilets are dated and in need of updating. Pay for showers are a step back to the 1970s Campsite will not allow campers to pay for anything until leaving. When we left the campsite computer was down and we had to pay cash to be able to leave. This applied to other campers as well. This was very poor and hopefully not a scam to avoid bank payments! Not much in the immediate area apart from the beach. The nearby town is dirty and run down.

A aimé . Quiet campsite, well presented, very clean. Good toilets and showers. Well equipped with pool and play areas

N'a pas aimé Nothing about the site to dislike, however the area around the site -local villages - is run down and covered in vast amounts of litter. Roads are not great for walking on due to the traffic

A aimé Good location for motorway access - well maintained and presented site. Suitable for a stop over if travelling north or south through Germany

N'a pas aimé Extra charges - you pay extra for showers and dishwashing - hidden charges that makes the site expensive

A aimé Good location - great scenery surrounding the site. Excellent facilities - clean toilets, dishwashing facilities etc

N'a pas aimé Lots of hidden charges - wi fi, showers, etc - expensive site without these additional charges - very expensive with them. Pitch up listing should make it clear what the additional charges are.

N'a pas aimé A number of hidden charges that take the pitch fees up to a lot more than Pitchup quote. Reception could be friendlier, but overall the site is pretty good. WiFi only 1 hr per day - this is misleading!

A aimé Great location, host could not have been friendlier or more helpful, good walks nearby

N'a pas aimé Toilets are basic and very small. The site was not full, but the toilets were simply insufficient for the site. If you have a motor home or caravan this may not be a problem, but if you are camping it detracts from the site.

A aimé Fantastic location with superb view over the surrounding countryside - perfect site, well kept with great hosts. Good wi-fi, toilets clean and nicely laid out - may be a bit stretched if site is full though.

N'a pas aimé Nothing - a few minor things for improvement, but nothing that would stop us going back if we were in the area.

A aimé Reasonably sized pitches - quiet at night

N'a pas aimé Pitch numbers non existent or hard to find - reception staff not keen to help locate pitch - some 40 mins spent searching for pitch E15 - is staff read this perhaps they could go and mark it for future users!!! We had to pay for a fully serviced pitch as there was no other option. We have a roof tent on top of our 4 x 4 and had no need of power or black water drainage! Site is expensive for what it is, but that is probably more a reflection on German campsites than this site in particular Lake side pitch - yes lake could be seen in the distance over 2m high reeds, if you stood on car bumper.

A aimé We liked the campsite for it's location - handy for the Channel ferry ports and it's position next to the canal. The site itself is not a large, developed site. Facilities are basic, but that is part of it's charm. If you want a big busy site this is not for you! The grass on site which is healthy and regularly cut - it is not a lawn, but who wants to camp on a lawn! The owner is really helpful and friendly.

A aimé Great location, campsite has a lot of potential. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. I hope that the campsite does not close or if it does it is taken over by a company who can make a go of it. I would stay at the campsite again, but anyone going there should not expect a 5 star site

N'a pas aimé Campsite feels as though and looks as though it is going out of business! There is a total lack of maintenance - grass and hedges are uncut, lights do not work, there are few litter bins (none at dishwashing area) and toilet lights do not work. The uncut grass is home to thousands of insects The toilets appear to be cleaned early in the morning but could with cleaning again later in the day. The shop is poorly stocked and expensive. The site wi fi we were told is 5 euros per hour !

N'a pas aimé Limited stock in site shop - miles to village shop, poor lighting in toilets, spotlights which illuminate open area at night - makes inside tent like daylight. High cover charges in restaurant
