A aimé Easy access, large pitches. On pitch water tap and electric and good recycling and rubbish facilities. Also clear grey and black waste disposal.
A short walk to the beach, museum and a nice local pub a bit farther along the front. Also there's a local convenience store and chippy, although the chippy wasn't open during our stay in January.
N'a pas aimé Sadly no view of the beach, it's next to an MOD firing range, so there's a lot of barbed wire fences. Although it wasn't operational when we were there and it was very peaceful.

Emplacement pour camping-car sur gravier avec branchements d'eau, d'égout et d'électricité
A aimé Huge pitch and a wonderful lake view. It felt very secure as there are security guards. Really nice having our own electric and water pump. Easy to access waste disposal and a clean toilet block and kitchen with one large shower. The lake is stunning and the staff are friendly. I booked a swim induction and paid £15 for a bring your own paddle board for my 3 day stay.
N'a pas aimé My only gripe as a paddle boarder is that the launch beach is the other end to the campsite and it's a long way to carry a heavy SUP. You can pay £4 to use the inflation station, which was good. But when I asked if I could exit the water from the empty beach near the campervan pitches, I was told no. It would be great if they could allow entry and exit to the lake closer to the pitch for campers
