A aimé Thoroughly enjoyed my weeks stay here so peaceful. Compost loo’s were super clean and shower amazing- great pressure and plenty of hot water. Choose where to pitch in a huge field with plenty of space between you and your neighbours. Hosts friendly and genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay- helpful and welcoming. Superb base to explore surrounding areas.

A aimé Helpful and accommodating hosts. Large open field with plenty of space to stretch out, although very busy over the weekend everyone was respectful and noise level was low. Clean facilities and plenty of hot water. Solo female traveller felt safe

N'a pas aimé Choose your own pitch site. Reasonable first few days, but after returning from a day out I was greeted by an entitled gentleman that had removed my EHU cable and placed my personal items to one side- he’s vehicle was much larger and decided the pitch I was staying on suited him better Apparently with the site owners permission. I was subsequently TOLD I should find another pitch. It appears the larger 8 wheeled more permanent stays take priority over smaller vehicles only staying a few nights… not the ending to my holiday id hoped for.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Dear Karen I can only apologise for the behaviour of the ‘entitled gentleman’. I wasn’t made aware that he had moved any of your personal belongings or removed your electric cable when I came to speak to you.  During our conversation we talked about you having decided to leave early to get home for commitments the following day. I told you the ‘entitled gentleman was going to pitch somewhere else and under no circumstance were you to leave until you were ready.  We value greatly ALL of our customers no matter the size of their camping accommodation. I really wish you would of called or come to find me so that I could have immediately resolved these issues.

A aimé Stayed for 8 nights looking for peace and quiet and that’s exactly what I got. Solo female traveler- felt safe and comfortable. Facilities basic but super clean and shower was always hot. Stunning views in every direction, enough walking paths to keep you busy directly from site. Although a working farm very little noise from farm machinery … chatter from sheep and cows was an absolute joy. The livestock here are so well cared for and the owners are friendly and on hand if you need anything.

A aimé 3rd stay here and never disappoints. Facilities clean- showers hot. Plenty of space to spread out and amazing views. Owners friendly and welcoming around if needed but not overbearing.
