A aimé Location is perfect for the ferry at Calais, site is clean and the food is also very good..staff are friendly and it’s all at a bargain price

N'a pas aimé Showers, stayed here every year for the past 5 years no and every time I comment on how the showers that are push button only stay on for about 10 seconds! They are still the same, why can’t you change the setting a bit to make showering a bit easier? It’s the only down side to this site but it won’t stop me staying again.

A aimé Facilities were decent, we never used the pool but it looked good and they have plenty of things for children to keep them occupied. More suited to families this site, toilets had seats and they also provided toilet paper and hand soap which is a refreshing thing for France WiFi was excellent even at the pitch, I would recommend this site to a family but I wouldn’t stay here again!

N'a pas aimé On our first night a group of around 5-6 French men arrived and set up a tent near our pitch, all was fine until we tried to get to sleep, they partied until 4.30am! Informed the site staff in morning who didn’t appeared to be bothered, I requested to move pitch which they agreed to…so we had to up sticks and move. The next pitch was fine and a bit further away for the noisy group who again we could hear until about 4am! Not impressed, they were also urinating at the side of the pitch in open view of all, not an ideal situation if there were children around. The staff were friendly enough but we felt like an inconvenience at the bar, the site is almost fully set up to cater for their full time residents with static caravans, I was informed that they had only purchased the site we were on last year where they allow motorhomes etc to pitch up. On arrival you expect to pull into the site and then be given a pitch but no, you are provided with another address where you have to negotiate narrow streets and a very narrow bridge to access the tourer site…we had some difficulty finding the entrance as did others we spoke to, this site is liked to the main site via small foot bridge and a path.

A aimé Friendly staff Lovely and clean AND THE TOILETS HAVE SEATS, THERES TOILET PAPER AND HAND WASH TO CLEAN YOUR HANDS WHEN YOUR DONE This is a great site and it’s busy full every night we stayed… Brilliant location and for all brits who read this the town of Brouges is beautiful, a small version of York loads to see and do all within walking distance from the site. All in a good site in a great location and we will be back

N'a pas aimé Nothing it’s a nice place, although we did have a drama finding the place due to being provided with the postcode for a sister site that’s in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal which caused a few problems to sort the location out!

A aimé Quiet, perfect location if you are into water sports.

N'a pas aimé Uneven pitches, even on top level off large ramp van still not level. Muddy pitches, I know they can control the weather but it’s a mud bath when it’s raining…not ideal trying to keep van clean inside. Rats 🐀 around the restaurant that I watched on two consecutive days…there is a lot of rubbish in and around the restaurant kitchen area that is obviously attracting the rats 🐀 massive health risks associated with these critters! Shower room near the top of the site is very dated and not very clean, why on earth can’t the French/Europeans put toilet seats on the loos????? I’m sure they have them in their own homes! Not toilet seat, toilet paper or even soap for washing your hands. We had a beer in the bar area. Nothing special and almost €16 for 2 wasn’t cheap. The lake is more for the organised water sport (wave boarding water skiing etc) we did have our own paddle boards but no real safe area to use them near the site due to power boats with water skiers etc.. Says there is WiFi at the reception area, after 4 days of trying we still never got connected to it.. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it for family or friends.

A aimé Great location for the ferry, place is clean and tidy and the food is decent. This was the third time we have stayed here and find it very convenient for the ferry. Didn’t have any kids so can’t really comment on kids stuff..

N'a pas aimé I understand why they have push button showers but, they only stay on for about 10 seconds which is very frustrating when trying to shower! WiFi only works in the bar area.

A aimé Everything, staff were brilliant and the facilities are second to none. Extremely clean and even tho we didn’t have any children they have an amazing set up for kids. The place is a real credit to the owners, we will be back 👍

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thanks a lot for your review and also for letting us know for the shower. I just increased the temperature as it was fine for a hot summer but not for a cold autumn!

A aimé Location was perfect for getting in and out of Rome, the shuttle bus was ideal. The place was clean, never used the restaurant, bar or pool so can’t comment on them.

N'a pas aimé Staff at reception were very rude, the older woman who served me needs to at least try to be pleasant to customers! No toilet seats or toilet paper, can’t understand why such a basic thing is not provided, this was the most expensive site we stayed at throughout our trip through France and Italy so can’t understand why they don’t have basic toilet seat and paper!! WiFi was sporadic and very slow! Also there was a guard dog that kept barking all day and evening, very annoying…
