A aimé Very private site , very quiet . Very well kept. Spotless toilets and showers. You get to choose wether you want to pay extra for the site showers and toilets , so your break can be cheaper . Unusual but it works.

N'a pas aimé Lock system on toilets and gates was a faff. Maybe use a door handle with integrated pin pad ?

N'a pas aimé Showers in shoddy condition, general junk near the showers and toilets, flower 🌸 bags just full of weeds . The reception area looked like Harry potters cupboard under the stairs.It looks like the owner don’t care anymore . It could be so much nicer with minimal effort . We chose to have a holiday there and would have liked a nicer field and faculties for the money, the pitch we were directed to had two lorry containers in it next to our pitch The sign on the way in was minimal and we shot straight past it.We’ve now parked up in a site with nice clean facilities for half the money. Sorry we won’t be back.

A aimé Very quiet site in the middle of nowhere which we liked , the pitches are very spacious . Very well laid out . Nearest pub is about 2 miles away,not a deal breaker .We met the lady owner who was very nice and chatty. Also has a shed with solar panels to charge all your devices as the site is off grid with no ehu.Lovely walks and views . Plenty of pitches away from trees to suit solar powered caravans and mohos .flattish enough and no problems found leaving the wet field . Signs on the access road only visible from one direction and it’s easy to fly past the entrance . Easy fix , add another sign. Only composting toilets available , showers basic but hot . Would we go back? Yes .

N'a pas aimé Toilet waste point is a 1000 litre farmyard container , there is no fresh water tap to wash your hands or clean out the caravan waste tank . You have take water from the drinking tap via a bucket or whatever vessel you have to perform the cleaning operation.A bucket was offered but never arrived. Luckily I found a fold up bucket I’d forgotten about.It’s not a great idea having only one tap for both , it’s easy to contaminate the drinking tap with nasties. I personally made a great effort to ensure this didn’t happen. If they would cut the grass leading to the poo tank and fit a tap it would be an easy fix and make life easier.Easy fix ,add a tap and mow the grass .

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review. Firstly, your issue with the elsan! Yes, it is basic. This is why we do not advertise it as a facility on our listing. It is there for emergency use if needed. We provide six loos around the site, plus urinals, (which are all maintained and cleaned very regularly and as are the rest of our facilities) so it is really used very little. When we talked, we agreed that a watering can would help with washing off your waste tank, and I provided you with one immediately. I must have misunderstood that you needed a bucket as well as the watering can. A message or phone call (or I was on site regularly) would have solved this. It is not possible to provide a tap where the elsan tank is because of the run off risk to the stream. Other than that, I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and we are pleased that you would recommend us to your friends, and visit us again. It's a shame we lost a few stars - we really do try our best for everyone!

A aimé Nice staff, lovely cafe, Kevin was just a total legend when our vehicles got stuck in the mud. Will book again . 3rd time iirc . No real limit on awnings etc . Marvellous

A aimé Toilet blocks and showers are good also Inc a washing machine. The grass could have had a wee trim , if it weren’t for that it would have been full marks

N'a pas aimé The hole in the hedge was tight to squeeze the moho and caravan through. Any chance of a trim with the hedge clippers pls? No waste disposal point for the caravan loo. A bit tight going through the front gate with an odd car parked you’ll struggle a bit . No set pitches and not super level, bring chocks n blocks and you’ll be fine .
