A aimé Nice and quite and very good scenery nice hot showers and too look at very clean

N'a pas aimé Think sure needs a update as drive say round site had big pot holes in and could do with a shop and reception man’s all the time

A aimé Had a pub outside ground that served food ok for a 1 nighter

N'a pas aimé Nothing really within walking distance there were pets wondering around without leads as the the sign did stipulate they must be kept on lead at all times quite noisy at night time after 11 with people talking in other pitches toilets /shower very basics but clean and tidy better than not having any at all

Réponse du gestionnaire : We do stipulate dogs must be on leads at all times. We ask everyone if there's a problem to report it to us, nobody did! Why not speak to the staff or call the out of hours number then this could of been rectified.

A aimé Fantastic site very clean and maintained the toilets and showers great large areas not pokey ones theres a good washing up area and wast disposal at back of toilets fantastic staff really nice and willing to help if ever you need them there’s a shop in reception for the little things you may need overall one of the good sites around for a quite stay or if you like a walk there Silverhill wood across the road great for dog walking .I’d give this site 10/10

A aimé Large leaves pitches the toilet /shower facility’s the on-site shop for the little things you need great washing up area ,overall a very clean and tidy site 5star It’s great for dogs walking or walking across the road Silverhill woods ,there’s a pub 5 mins down road that does food

N'a pas aimé Welcoming on site was not very good ,no explanation of facilities on site just gave us a code for gate on a bit a of paper .Noise from airport planes taking off and landing at early morning and the gate left open on night /morning a few times

A aimé quite and clean site , bus stop 2 mins from site to town and beach and a pub all within 2/3 mins walk from site staff helpful when on site

N'a pas aimé Road next to campsite quit busy and no path to walk along from site dig walking on site not too good as you get fighting the flys off you

N'a pas aimé Looks like there in proses of doing more work on the site /pitches as there only 1 shower room with toilet in and a porter loo you have wast disposal next to the toilet block and bins for rubbish ,the pitches are quite big mostly grass with electric and water so you don’t have to travel far to get water the main person in charge was very helpful as well . there’s a pud 15 mins walk down the road and a shop it’s a Stonehouse pub carvery and pizza with other good food on the menu so you have got a verity of food to have its quite cheap as well defiantly be going back in future to see how they have improved on what’s on site at minute great relaxing stop over for 1/2 nights give it 4stars at minute

A aimé Hard standing large pitches , Staff so helpful the site is kept really clean all round with a restaurant on site and if you are a fisherman then there’s 3 ponds to fish and no children running wild on site

N'a pas aimé No dog walk just have to improvise and walk round site or walk out side site but that’s not really inadequate as it’s a main road with not much of a path .there no laundry to wash anything if you need to .

Unfortunately we just do not have the space on site for a dog walking area and laundry facilities. It is in our future plans should we have the opportunity to expand in anyway.
