Emplacement pour tente ou pour caravane pliante sur herbe avec électricité optionnelle
A aimé I found this to be a wonderful site, convenient location for exploring the coast. Facilities were spotless and looked fairly new. Showers were well organised, with lots of dry space to put clothes. Site was quiet and well setup.
The lady who runs the shop was great, so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

A aimé Very clean, tidy & organised site. In great location for exploring the canal. Almost on-site pub was great for when you didn't fancy cooking or wanted some home comforts. The facilities were very clean and it's the first place I have camped where the showers are actually thought about. There was a bench and hooks to place all your dry items, so you're not hopping from dry to wet feet/areas to try and change after showering. Will definitely visit again.
N'a pas aimé Only minor gripe, was told at reception that there were two fields for tents. I decided to go to the further/quieter field. Someone in a motorhome asked me to move pitch, to the far end, as there was a rally the next day. Was told it was the "rally field". Bit of miscommunication somewhere.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review and feedback. I am so sorry that you were asked to move up to the far end, they had no right to do that at all! The field is only exclusively for rallies when it is booked as such. The rally that was in there was a very small one and knew that they would be sharing with our other visitors who had the choice of where they went. I do hope this doesn't put you off returning and if anything like that happens again, please do let us know at the time so that we can deal with it. Kind regards.

Pod prêt-à-camper (animaux interdits)
A aimé Very friendly reception, given detailed information on arrival. Pod and facilities were very clean, despite the wet weather. The pod was very warm and cosy, excellent location for exploring local attactions, Puzzle Wood, Clearwell Caves.
N'a pas aimé The small decking outside the pod (as with all decking), turned into a slippy hazzard when wet, came a cropper on a return from a toilet break. Could benefit from some anti slip coating.

A aimé Good facilities, very clean. Location excellent. Nice walk to Corfe across the fields, with regular bus if you don't fancy the walk back.
N'a pas aimé Some road noise and hilly site means you need to plan your pitch a bit.

A aimé Great location, not far from Bognor or Pagham beaches. The site is well maintained, spacious and everyone on the site seems to be very respectful of each other. The portaloos, are regularly cleaned and very tidy. I was pleasantly surprised to see there were showers on site, as hadn't expected there to be. Only one was in operation, on the bank holiday, so was rather busy. However, as the site is advertised as Wild Camping, the shower facilities should be seen as a bonus. I believe this and the toilets are being renovated.

A aimé Situated in a beautiful area of the countryside, the journey to the site takes you through magical, rooty lanes, which seem like they are from Middle Earth. I was greeted warmly on entering through the two large gates, the host Selena was very friendly, made me feel immediately welcome and provided lots of good information for my stay. The site is made up of several camping fields, plenty of space to spread out and not feel like you are on a shared site. I had a whole field to myself. There is plenty of scenic walking and hiking to be had, just a few minutes from the site. I ventured across the site, through the fern laden ancient woodland and upto the Temple of the Winds, being rewarded with a beautiful view across Black Down. From the hills nearby you can follow the Serpentine track, which meanders down, through lush purple heather, back to the site for a well earned cuppa and biscuit.
