There’s no need for bells and whistles when your back-to-basics grass pitch is just outside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and has views of the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside. Peaceful and family-friendly Park Wall Farm has country views alongside the small, simple bits that you need for a comfy stay: namely clean toilets and running water. This is a traditional site in all senses of the word, with a relaxed atmosphere and a decidedly rural location between historic Pembroke and the colourful harbour town of Tenby (if you’re one who can’t keep away from the water, best not leave your beach things at home…) The site is a 10-minute drive from spectacular south-westerly sandy beaches like those at Freshwater East and Manorbier. Sandwich fillings and any other groceries can easily be picked up in Pembroke, 10 minutes’ drive away. You may very well catch yourself grazing on snacks throughout the day, especially if you try out any of the local coastal walks. Between Tenby (15 minutes’ drive), Pembroke and local villages, there are also heaps of excellent pubs and takeaways where dinner can be sourced. Families should appreciate the generous selection of family-friendly attractions in Pembrokeshire, such as Heatherton World of Activities and Manor Wildlife Park, both within 10 minutes’ drive of the site, and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 15 minutes’ drive away.

A aimé Flat field with a lovely view for pitching the tent however the ground was very stoney and hard. Cheap easy access and you can park wherever you want. Friendly staff

N'a pas aimé The toilets and showers were dirty and not cleaned daily and the toilets had no lighting on the second day. Road along side the field which can be noisy.

A aimé Lovely campsite overlooking beautiful scenery. It was quite quiet when we stayed with just a few tents and campers, and no noise in the evening which was amazing.
Even though when we booked it said no showers, there were around 3 or 4 located on site as well as 3 bathrooms, all regularly cleaned
Really can't go wrong for £15 a night!
Only around 10 minutes from Tenby, and in the evening got dominos delivered
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again :)

A aimé Really enjoyed our stay here. The campsite was clean and well maintained, and the toilets and showers were clean and well looked after. Even it says no showers they have showers there.The facilities made the stay much more comfortable. Would definitely recommend this campsite and would happily stay again.

N'a pas aimé There’s nothing in particular that I disliked about the campsite. The only thing was that there wasn’t a washing area yet, but as the campsite is still being developed, I believe they are in the process of adding one. I’m sure it will be a great addition once it’s finished.

A aimé Really enjoyed staying on this site super easy to find and had a bonus of 3 showers with hot running water. Only a short drive from so many beaches and was easy to book last minuet. Can’t wait to come back

Attractions à proximité

Capable surfers scanning the maps for a worthy wave might want to try Manorbier beach (10 minutes’ drive), favoured by many surfing locals for its southwesterly breeze. There’s plenty of space to spread out and get out the ball games at Manorbier too, as well as beaches like Freshwater East (10 minutes), Barafundle Bay (half an hour) and Broad Haven South (25 minutes). Broad Haven South is particularly pretty, looking out over Church Rock and not too far away from scenic lily ponds. Tenby (15 minutes), of course, must take first place for laidback days of fish and chips and sightseeing. Colourful houses, 13th-century town walls and the scenic Castle Beach (called such due to its views of ruined Tenby Castle) should be enough persuasion to visit – not to mention that it’s near The Dinosaur Park Tenby (10 minutes), packed with family-friendly rides and play areas. Pembrokeshire has quite a few Welsh castles, too, including (but not limited to) medieval Pembroke Castle (15 minutes) and the moated Carew Castle (10 minutes). Both castles have events that take place throughout the year, from falconry displays to Pembroke’s ‘knight school’.
