Far from the madding crowd but very accessible. Great walking from the site.
Linda is a very attentive, friendly host .

A aimé My partner and I had a lovely and tranquil stay at Penllechog Camping. We really liked that our pitch had space for our car, so we could keep all our supplies safe from the rain. There was a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance and plenty of space around the campsite, so you didn't feel on top of the other campers. The facilities suited our needs really well, the compost toilets were comfortable and kept very clean, and the showers were nice and warm. I'd really recommend this campsite for anyone who would like to take a trip off grid and spend time in beautiful Wales.

A aimé Quiet site, enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The scenery was lovely from our pitch. The hosts were lovely, I didnt see them much but when I did they were informative and helpful.

N'a pas aimé On arrival I drove past the camp entrance by accident, there were loose working dogs, 1 was attacking my car tyre. Given the fact this is a camp site with guests, I think a working dog that is prone to biting car tyres should be kept away from guests. I understand its a working dog, but the booking does say report to someone on arrival, this is impossible when your car is being attacked by a dog. My car was not damaged but I do think its important for people to be aware of the dog incase a tyre is blown at some point.

A aimé We had a very bad experience at this campsite. The owner treated us very rudely and asked us to leave the campsite. The only reason was that we were sitting outside and talking. He told us to go inside our tent and sleep.

We found this behaviour extremely rude and unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this campsite.

It was very unfortunate that I received complaints about your loud music and noisy behaviour after dark. It was more unfortunate that I received more complaints and had to ask you twice to keep the noise down.
I asked you kindly to make sure your campfire was put out before you settled for the night for your own safety and others on site. It's been a hot summer.

A aimé Very quiet and relaxing campsite. We stayed 8 nights and loved the views in day and night. ( the stars were amazing)
Compost toilets are not for everyone, but we’re kept very clean and the showers was nice and hot . Very friendly farmers and their collies. We loved our stay .

A aimé Beautiful campsite. Small, in a beautiful surroundings. In the middle of small forest and surrounded by mountains. I dont really comeback to the same place second time, but I think this is will be the first place I will be back again!
Two showers,
Two toilets,
Small slide and swings for kids.
Large field to play and run around if they wish.
Only around 8 tent pitches available in total.
The onwer Linda was very helpful and friendly person. Was pleasure to meet her :)

The star gazing at night is incredible!!!!

30 min drive to Snowdon for Nant Peris parking.
