Castle Bay Holiday and Residential Park

A aimé It was my second visit to Castle Bay, this time witha friend. The pitch was really spacious and and had a superb view of Dunskey Castle and the sea. The toilets and showers were only a short walk away and immaculately clean. John was very helpful and friendly.

A aimé As first time campervanners, we weren't sure what to expect but Castle Bay certainly delivered, and then some... it has scenery to die for, with views onto the castle, the cliffs and the sea, with Northern Ireland's coastline visible on a clear day. The staff were friendly and helpful - useful when we found someone had already bagged our spot! The campsite is beautifully maintained, with planting and stones helping with navigation and wayfinding. The washing facilities were well kept and clean - lots of space to shower, hang your towels/clothes, and if you have small children, there's ample room to wash together with privacy. The campsite has easy access to coastal paths, making it easy to walk along to Port Patrick, or head in the opposite direction to enjoy the dramatic coastal scenery.

N'a pas aimé Phone reception and wifi was a little patchy, but there was a decent reception by the toilet/showers. I'd be a little wary to bring young children due to the closeness of the cliffs, but everything is well fenced off.

A aimé Fabulous views, nice grass pitch, easy going site without too many signs for a refreshing change. Lots of nice walks and lanes for cycling, never too busy.

A aimé Loved the brilliant pitch looking over the Irish Sea. The welcome we received was 1st class. The pitch was a large hard standing pitch with loads of room to sit out and enjoy the view.
Slept great. Very peaceful.
Facilitys were clean.
