Blue Pool Camping

A aimé : Beautiful setting. Tranquil and quiet incl morning visits from the local deer. We stayed in the bell tent (for 4 people) and it was very spacious and comfortable. Wood was provided and a BBQ. Stunning walks in and around the campsite. The Tea Room (only a 3min walk away) offers lovely food and drinks and scenic walks. Fantastic service, friendly staff and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away. (poor cell signal - so no wifi. The Tea Room offers wifi should you need)

A aimé : Location. The tent. All the staff were so welcoming. What a beautiful place to stay.
We had tears from the kids not wanting to leave!

A aimé : Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The campsite was perfectly located between RSBP Arne, Corfe Castle, and any of the Purbeck area.

The pitch was perfect, quiet, located right in the heart of nature (We heard owls and nightjars at night). Blue Pool nearby was a lovely touch. Lovely place to start your day with a coffee & a sandwich overlooking the gorgeous lake.

A aimé : Lots of land with plenty of space for yourself no one around

N'a pas aimé: The actual main part closed at half 5 and even thought we was in the camp we wasn’t allowed to walk around the trails later then 6 or go to the main pool/lake which I thought was absolutely ridiculous

A aimé : We had a fantastic stay at blue pool. The facilities and nature reserve are amazing and having access to this throughout our stay was great. Our 2 year old loved the fairy walk and the playground. The campsite was private and peaceful and the amenities were as described (compost loos, sink, water tap, outdoor shower, fire pits, table and chairs ). The team were fantastic and David was really welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and really easy to contact. The bell tents themselves were beautiful and really spacious. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

A aimé : Perfect location for exploring Dorset! Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door & Monkey World all less than 15 minute drive away.

The Blue Pool is stunning & a huge bonus that we got to explore with free entry while staying on site. Staff were all extremely friendly.

Campsite was all you could ask for, clean, peaceful, well maintained, a haven for nature, especially the stunning fallow deer. Fresh water tap on site was a welcome bonus!

The lack of electric, reception & wifi on the wild camping site was great for a digital detox!

The long drop toilets were well equipped with toilet roll & hand sanitiser!

The night sky was stunning with minimal light pollution making it a great location for stargazing which was one of the highlights of our trip!

We will definitely be back to stay again.

N'a pas aimé: The only downer was the walk of shame through the posh bell tent sites to get to the wild site!!!! Haha!!
