A aimé Lovely quiet peaceful site. On the edge of an orchard great pitches. Good facilities including well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Laid back and relaxed vibe. Close to village and west coast path walks. Amazing.

A aimé What a fabulous find. Great quiet location. You dont need kendle mint cake for the expedition to the toilet or showers.
Everything is close by and the showers were hot.The fire pit was an added bonus.You need to Bring your own or by local logs.
Oh, and the dog loved it too.

N'a pas aimé The pitches are like a Martian landscape. The heatwaves hit the pitches hard.
This is not a problem as the guys provide mats for outside the tent / van. Very consciences site owners.
Thats my only could be better :)

A aimé Lovely spot, quiet and peaceful with the orchards around you. Although we stayed on a Wednesday at the end of September we didn’t expect to have the place to ourselves! The facilities were excellent, particularly the private bathrooms.

A aimé Really liked the quietness of the site and it has all the facilities you need, it’s clean, tidy and good hot showers.

N'a pas aimé Only thing would be the red ground was a bit messy due to the grass not growing which was mentioned on the booking email , but again was a nice touch that the site provided mats you could use, and it should only be a temporary problem while they wait for the grass to grow

A aimé A wonderful personal family run camp site, near to local towns and amenities, yet far enough away to feel isolated. The site is very quaint, and nicely put together, without feeling like you are on top of each other. Very peaceful.
As mentioned in other reviews, yes the ground was hard, yes the ground was dirty, but we had a very dry and hot summer so grass is non-existent everywhere. The site made the effort to provide floor mats to stop the transfer of the dirt into your tent, which went above and beyond. They also provided strong ground pegs for those that needed them.

N'a pas aimé The shop was an honesty shop, but had little by way of products. I would have expected a choice to buy milk. There were a small number of showers, and the water was lovely and hot, yet one of the showers was like standing under a dripping tap, yet the other very powerful. The pitches are reasonably sized, but you may want to check the size of your tent, some of the larger tents are unlikely to fit within the first few pitches.

A aimé We liked that it is a small quiet site with everything that you might need and it’s close enough to all the amenities near by but still tucked away from it all.
It’s our second visit and we love it.

A aimé Fantastic campsite. Such a great find. We stayed in September 2026 yes the pitches were dusty and hard due to lack of rain BUT there were so many good points this was a minor inconvenience. The campsite was fully equipped and I mean FULLY equipped! Microwave, washing machine, toaster, individual washrooms, fridges and freezer,kettles a shop and even a room to sit in out of bad weather with comfy sofas and a dining table. Owner was really friendly, lovely walks around the orchard, dog friendly and the owner even said we could pick and take apples with us! Small village a short walk away with pub and shop. Total reset and relaxing place. I’d definitely stay here again.
