The Plough and Harrow

A aimé A lovely and comfortable stay. Staff at the pub were helpful and more than willing to help. The children enjoyed playing around as it was safe for us to let them play. The beds were like clouds and so comfortable. The additional camping chairs were great to sit out. A beautiful place!

Is gewoon een kleine parkeerplaats met wat gras waar ze nog 10 plekken op willen proppen. Puur makkelijk geld verdienen
De reden om hier te zijn was de pub, maar let op : gesloten op maandag en dinsdag en buiten het hoogseizoen soms vaker dicht
En pal naast de doorgaande weg

A aimé Size of campsite, the owners very friendly food in the pub on the days it was open was great.

N'a pas aimé Proximity to road could get noisy but was ok for the amount of time we were there

A aimé The site was clean and looked tidy. There were adequate facilities for a site this small and as most of their business is from overnighters passing through to/from Dover it is well kept with no large groups or parties. The pub was pleasant and offered light entertainment and good food. We live not far and wanted somewhere close for 2 nights to air and prepared our camper for a longer trip later in the year. It is perfect as a mini trip or stop over and pitches were set up clearly with enough space for camper/tent and outside dining. We will definitely be back as it’s nice to find a good, clean site to pitch up for a night or two!

N'a pas aimé We were on a slight slope which made it a little tricky to push the camper/trailer back far enough to make the most of the space but that can’t be helped tbh as we are in Kent and land isn’t always flat!

Clean facilities

N'a pas aimé Very very loud with road noise and sounds like there is a rave next door going on until after midnight.
Owner a bit obsessed with electric vehicles wanting to use his electric and kept going on about it making us feel like we had done something wrong just by having an electric car (which we didn’t, nor had any intention of) charging at his site.

A aimé Der Stellplatzbesitzer war nett....

N'a pas aimé Die Stellplätze befinden sich seitlich eines Pubs (der montags und dienstags geschlossen hat!!!!). Vor unserem Stellplatz befand sich ein übervoller Müllcontainer. Es gibt zwei Duschen und zwei Toiletten. Die Duschen waren echt grenzwertig, nicht nur, dass alles unter Wasser stand, sie waren auch noch schmutzig. Außerdem befindet sich eine laute Straße in der Nähe. Falls ihr hier übernachtet wollt, nur wenn es am nächsten Tag weiter oder auf die Fähre geht.

It’s a great site and everyone bends over backwards to help
