We stayed in a superior pod and it was soundproof, we didn’t hear anything from the outside plus underfloor heating was great and simple to use

A aimé Originally intended as a much needed solo hotel rest and reset, mini-break. But once I found this place I had to bring my LO to join the offline adventure. We took along an entire suitcase of puzzles and books even downloaded some movies in case LO got bored- we didn’t need the downloads! To our delight the camp was exceedingly child friendly, we especially liked the “scavenger hunt” which took us around the whole campsite, offering some adventure for my LO and helping me identify all the fire safety spots for the first time. They offered colouring pages and activities which my LO throughly enjoyed and was thrilled to receive a certificate! Each day we took long walks through the woods, around the site, to and from the Sainsbury’s (which is very close by). The staff onsite are exceptional! All the required necessities for a much needed peaceful mini break, were provided. We loved it!

A aimé Mooie plek, alles aanwezig om iets kleins te koken. Aardige ontvangst op de camping. Verwarming was fijn en de douche was prima. Supermarkt en station zijn dichtbij.
We hebben 2 keer een vos gezien!

N'a pas aimé Het bed was wat te kort, maar we hebben wel prima geslapen.

A aimé Lovely site away from the hustle and bustle of London! 12min walk to the station to get into central London! Nice lodge with lovely view across the park!

N'a pas aimé The only thing I’d say is on the description it says ‘cooking facilities’ don’t be led to thinking there’s a hob as there isn’t! They only give you one disposable bbq and there is a microwave for heating things up!

A aimé Great quiet site with fantastic facilities, shower and toilet block was really clean. Staff and other people staying on the site were friendly. Pod was basic but has everything you could need and is warm. Easy transport links into London, 10 minute walk to the Elizabeth line and 30 minutes into the city. Would definitely stay again.

N'a pas aimé The bed in the pod is an old click clack sofa bed, which was uncomfortable. Thankfully I had additional bedding and cushions with me which helped.

A aimé The glamping pod has everything you need, and they even include a disposable bbq. The camping is one road away from Abbey Wood, with its pond, fossil digging area, sculpted trees and more - and five minutes away from the Elizabeth line, which can bring you anywhere in London very quickly.
The staff is super friendly too.

N'a pas aimé There’s no free wifi, which is weird these days, but we didn’t miss it.

A aimé Lovely campsite, outstanding staff, easy to find, easy to check in. Very peaceful.
Elizabeth line is just 0.90 km walk away (10 minutes) There is also a large Supermarket next to to the station.

I reported a broken piece of equipment and it was fixed that day.

Pod was really clean and tidy. Bed is a little bit hard to sleep on, but we overcame that by using our spare duvet as a topper.

Toilet block and showers very clean. Entire site is very well cared for. There is CCTV for security.

Parking was plentiful. One of the best campsites we have been to, without a doubt. Perfect for leaving the car there and getting the tube into central London.

Staff are A++
