A aimé Lovely spot and not too busy. The chair to watch the sunset was spot on and the whole vibe was very relaxed. The store was also supper useful with a fridge and freezer for guests along with lots of essentials including chocolate to buy! We were on our cycles and highly recommend the site.

Hot water is freely available at the washing up sink and wash basins, plus there’s an electric kettle in the store. But Yes! £1 coin is required to operate the shower.

Cyclists - please let us know if you are a single cyclist (with no vehicle) and we’ll give you a £1 for a complimentary shower!

A aimé Beautiful, small site in idyllic setting, particularly liked the artistic touches - lovely flower arrangements - and a great pub just down the road. Sally and team were very friendly and welcoming.

A aimé It is a quiet campsite and the owners ensure that’s the case. The layout of the site is in a circle surrounded by trees and the pitches are generous. The facilities are simple and clean with fridge and freezer. There is an honesty shop with emergency supplies and charcoal and wood to enjoy the peace and quiet by the fire while star gazing. The community pub the Racehorse is an absolute must visit. As you can see there’s a lot to like but finally the owners Sally and Richard are so helpful and engaging you’re guaranteed a great stay.

We do have capacity to take toilet waste but can only take environmentally friendly/bio toilet fluid treatment as we have a septic tank system. Please just ask if you need help. We live here and are available and happy to assist!

A aimé So peaceful and quiet, all we could hear were the birds. Loved the chickens and the handsome cockerel wandering about. Very clean, lovely owners. Pub walking distance, with a very warm welcome and excellent food. Wish we had booked in for longer.

A aimé Beautiful site, large pitches very clean facilities and small details that make this site stand out from others. Lovely for families and couples alike, relaxing and peaceful but plenty of places to visit nearby and lots of walking if you choose.
The Racehorse Community pub is just a short walk, good food and can recommend for dinner.
Sally and Richard always take the time to have a friendly chat and always make you feel very welcome, we love it here.
