Avon Wild Camping

A aimé : Everything. Place was great with amazing views of the river. Pizza freshly cooked was stunning. People on reviews moaned about the toilets but they were cleaned constantly. Chatted to the people who work there and they were very friendly and welcoming. A very much needed relaxing break and I will be going again in the coming weeks as a tranquil switch off go to place.. 9.5/10.... Come on, no one gives a 10 but it's close 👍

N'a pas aimé: The free flowing river was cold...boiler could have been broken. Haha

As we’re 100% off-grid , the team work incredibly hard to deliver this service, but it’s nice to know that everything runs from solar, so our eco approach matches the beautiful countryside that we share with nature.

We will continue our organic approach to developing the site further so hopefully, next time you visit there will be some more additions.

A aimé : Loved everything about this site! Clean toilets, little shop selling food and hot drinks at really reasonable prices, large areas to pitch tents of all sizes and jo is lovely, a real asset the site, friendly and hospitable! Will defo be back!

A aimé : We liked everything the site is clean and quiet at night we stayed for one night in a bell tent the bell tent was so lovely so many lovely touches to the bell tent the pizza on site was lovely and really good value for money even a lovely lady came and checked we was okay too which I thought was lovely I would definitely recommend here I will definitely be coming back next year to stay in the bell tent thankyou for a lovely stay

A aimé : Lovely setting by river with options to enjoy the water either by a dip or some fushing. Very clean toilet facilities and great addition with stone baked pizzas made fresh to order.

A aimé : Loved the stay here. Good sized field and very level. The onsite facility for food was very good. And £5 to hire a fire pit including logs was fantastic.
There is a relatively deep stream that meanders its way around the back of the site and the kids were loving it! I’d recommend taking a big rubber ring and going on a lazy river ride!
We stayed in our van, put a few chairs out and enjoyed the stars. The ladies running the site were also great! 100% we will be returning.

Ps don’t be put off that there’s no showers. Just jump in the lovely clean stream 🤣

A aimé : Very relaxed casual setting, fire pit rental with the firewood was a perfect touch which pretty much made the trip being able to sit by a fire on the evening, being only our second time camping we're still learning and acquiring different bits of equipment so this really made it a great experience.

N'a pas aimé: Nothing really, although not having much to compare it to, the people were nice, it wasn't too crowded and the toilet facilities were clean enough, nothing to dislike

A aimé : excellent site, facilities give you exactly what you need and are always clean! check in was easy and the whole site was given an extended leave time due to the bank holiday! The site was perfect for young couples, families and groups! The hosts were friendly and laid back couldn’t have asked for more. thanks team x

A aimé : Very nice place, few restrictions, easy in and out process, you just go through the gate and pick your spot.
Very helpful team, very clean toilets well maintained round the clock , tissue and soap are available all the time day and night.
Highly recommend place especially for large group as you can locate your tents easily next to each other.

N'a pas aimé: Nearly nothing, just dogs on loose, one excited dog visited our food couple of times which was annoying but clearly this is not the camp responsibility.
