Heath Farm Caravan Site

A aimé Very well presented site , nice welcome with really good information which does include details of local amenities , nearby eateries and shops as well as places of interest.

Lovely and peaceful with beautifully maintained and tendered garden area as well as camping sites . Good onsite facilities also set within camping site Cranwell aviation museum..

One thing which really impressed me was how quiet things are especially as it’s set within working arable farm ( so peaceful )

Both myself and hubby would throughly recommend this to anyone looking for peace and quiet break ..

Such a warm and friendly welcome ..
( we’ve enjoyed it so much have just booked return trip for early September ..

A aimé Everything about this site was perfect. A warm welcome onto a site that is kept to perfection. Other sites should see this as an example. The pitches were all immaculate but the toilets, washroom and waste disposal were excellent. All so well kept. Along with this there was much information about the local area and a lovely little shed selling various products. Thank you so much for the thought and care you put into running this site.

A aimé Site was excellent well kept nice quiet location lady was lovely toilets and wash area very clean no showers but can live without that facility as motorhome equipped really enjoyed our day there will be going back hopefully this year would recommend no problem

A aimé A simple, basic site. Everything you needed at a very reasonable price. Clear directions & a sign at the entrance.
No showers but that is made clear in advance.
Plenty of space between the pitches.
A friendly, helpful welcome on arrival.
We plan to return to have a look at the Aviation Heritage Museum that is on the same site. Looks like there’s lots to see & do in the area.

N'a pas aimé A small amount of road noise but only the person in the pop-top roof could hear it. Not enough to disturb us.

A aimé The site was spacious,The toilet area was very clean and washing area good too.Had a mix up with us pitching up on wrong peg/number my fault,but we sorted it with another customer helping us out.
Nice place to take dog out for walkies.
Owner made you feel welcome.

N'a pas aimé The site has large trees overhanging especially the large horse chestnut tree next to pitch nearest the fence,it was a little bit windy so didn't fancy bits falling off,on our roof,also very shady.


Next door was Aviation museum,run by volunteer we wanted to pop in for drink cake,but as we had our dog with us,the lady on duty said no dogs allowed,we wanted to sit outside in area with tables,No can't do that either,unfortunately.
We wanted to support them but felt upset at her negative response,by the way,only one other couple in at that point.

As I explained at the time, it didn't matter that you parked on a different pitch, it was the fact that you parked on one clearly allocated to someone else. The pitch you refer to is one of three on site that may be described as shady but all of them benefit from the sun later in the day as it moves around.
The Cranwell Aviation Museum is run by North Kesteven District Council, who operate a 'no dog' policy in all of their tourist attractions. We have no control over this and would hope this didn't influence your decision to only award your stay 8/10.
